Deepika Never Seems Genuine

Everything about her seems to be PR driven and I never get the sense of "realness" from her......Depression and Acid Attacks are serious issues and I am happy that she is speaking about them and im thankful to her , but she only speaks about these things when it benefits her?

On top of that, she is the queen of controversy - haar baar iska kuch na kuch hota rehta hai:

- Dating RK then breaking up, milking it on KWK - then the dynamic with Sonam plus RK Tattoo

- Cleavege controversy which she responded to with My Choice video

- Dum Maaro Dum song was obscene she became a target by I dont remember who

- Ram Leela she was supposed to be arrested for hurting relgious sentiments.

- Padmavat- death threats, Bajirao ke time bhi kuch hua tha

- The whole depression thing

- Even her whole thing with Kartik seems like a a gimmick and they'll probably sign a movie soon

- Now speaking about Acid Attacks ( which she will never talk about again once the movie releases)

Why always something? why cant a movie release on its own merits without the theatrics? Its tiring. Mujhe toh ab darr hai ke kahi apne future bache ka naam yeh Veerbir na rak de .....

I enjoy her but certain things are off putting. Like putting that Vin Diesel photo but then refusing to discuss it.

I agree with parts of your post. Sometimes I feel she overdoes a few things that backfire.

She do everything from heart honestly, its just a matter of seeing things from a different perspective

She is not fake, its just that she speaks carefully and conscious about what she says, soch kar boltee hai which may come across rehearsed & not genuine to some.

Jaisi jiski soch.... But then again no celeb is genuine.... They are all wearing a mask to maintain their image....if you think anyone of them is showing their real self in public then it's a delusion..... Yea probably only kangna shows her true self...

I generally like her. But I was really off put by a comment she made on the film companion interview. The whole thing about disliking being asked about her process as an actress. She compared it to a sports star or a business mogul being asked about their process as if it were giving away trade secrets or something. That really made me wonder whether she views everything from a commercial or competitive lens which shouldn't be the case.

Deepika’s not genuine at all. She’s never cared about regional actresses before but now she’s suddenly using them to promote her movie. After movie promotions are done I’m sure she won’t talk about these actresses again. Deepika is a fake and a user!
