I quit gosh darn CVs, I hate you! I wish this show ends soon. Again this character is based off of Shri Balram not some dude named Balram who they can always poke fun at.

Whatever I have my treasured KaRam and even a few Balram centric moments (like this fight) and that is what I will keep in my mind. Everything else especially CVs can fall off a cliff for all I care.

Sony TV's Vighnaharta Ganesha saw the replacement of one of the major characters Kartikey. Basant Bhatt who gained immense popularity with his portrayal of Kartikey in Sony Entertainment Television’s Vighnaharta Ganesha was replaced by Pratham Kadam, who has earlier been a part of Siya Ke Ram and Mahakaali.

But the latest news that we hear from the set is that Basant Bhatt is back in the show. Basant had to leave the show and he told media that he had committed less days of shoot in a month. However, he was asked to give more dates to the show, which was not possible for him at that time as he was already occupied with RadhaKrishn. Hence, left with no option Basant had to quit the show.

And the makers replaced him with Pratham but now we hear Basant is back in the show. When contacted Basant confirmed the news and said, "Yes I am back in the show. Things are sorted between me and the production house. The dates issues are sorted and I am happy to be back in the show."

I m relived things are on good terms between contiloe and him, i personally think contiloe treats their shows better than swastik, its good thing if they have called you back 😎 you were worth it, the character always belonged to you 😎 ppl on professional level are acknowledging your true worth 😃 i would love to see bb and contiloe working together beyond vg 😳 its better to maintain healthy relationships with them who acknowledges your worth than that swastik who deliberately disrespects you and dumps sub standard things on you

Also it is coming as big relief from distorted version of Balram, i m very happy about this news 😳

Most actors I assume want a consistent part in the show. VG seems very inconsistent. That could be a factor on the replacement actor leaving

BB is back as kartikeya 🥳 he says date issues are sorted, i guess once full fledged mb track starts, he will have little to do there, so makes sense to accept the offer of rejoining vg. I haven't watched vg since he left, so no idea about how much he will be needed now there, but itna toh relief hai ki his character won't be disrespected, so jitna bhi mile rk se achha hi hoga 😂 lets see how this goes... 😳

That thing turned out to be a bult up to the upcoming ranchhod thing 😒😏

All i will remember fondly from rk is initial four months and few scenes from rest of the times here and there

yesterday's and today's KaRam scene was good. kal toh kaise muh phoola ke khada tha 😆😳 cute WO aur uska cute sa gussa 😳 ruthe huye ko manana padega 😉 phir usko dus nahi dus hazar ke barabar bolke pamper karna padega 😆🤗

good to see his warrior mode on 😊no compromise on wasool, he is a straight forward guy 👍🏼 i think these disagreements with kanha are built up for future (u knw what)

I really don't understand this!😕 Why isn't the trio, ever together? I was surfing around YouTube and just now found a video of sumedh-mallika-zalak, celebrating 400 episodes!

N i was like, 'zalak can give an interview, who has been part of RK, for not even a month but basant cannot!🤓

Its super weird! How every interview is with everyone, xcept the lead trio together!😆

Basant is back as Kartikeya in Vighnaharta Ganesh as of 7 January 2020, and it is totally awesome to see him back! And this little aspect of TV life is now once again back to the way it should have been all along. ⭐️

Seeing as Balram currently has reduced screentime in RK anyway, hopefully the makers have actually relaxed Basant's 25-days-a-month time bookings for now, which will allow him and his VG colleagues to film their scenes mostly during the day rather than having to do constant night shifts like they had to do previously. 😊 Hopefully Basant will also have more time to get some well deserved rest in among all this.

It does sound like an unfortunate situation for the other actor, Pratham, but he will be fine and I wish him well for his future projects. And by the way, this is the most high-profile "double swap" that has happened in VG so far but definitely not the only one!

We certainly come across replacements in TV shows too often and it might not come across as too much of a surprise but seldom does it happen that an actor who is replaced earlier re-joins the show replacing the current actor.

If that sounds complex, the situation truly turned out to be.

Actor Pratham Kunwar went on to replace Basant Bhatt in Sony TV's Vighnaharta Ganesha back in September but now, Bhatt has replaced Kunwar as the latter has quit the show. Yes! That's right. In an interview with Bombay Times, Kunwar opened up on his reason to exit from the show. He said, "“To begin with, I wasn’t happy with the way my character was shaping up. Out of the 15 days a month blocked by the production house, I was being called to shoot for only three days. They promised me that my track will increase soon, however, that didn’t happen. They eventually told me that they are getting the original actor back. I was shocked. Having said that, I don’t grudge anyone, as I feel fortunate to have got the opportunity to play such an iconic character. The only grouse is that I had chosen this project over another that I was offered around the same time.”

When it comes to Bhatt who did exit the show earlier and is now back on it said, "Apparently, the channel wanted me back in the show for the upcoming track and hence, the production house approached me. I hadn’t quit 'Vighnaharta Ganesha'. In fact, I was managing it along with 'RadhaKrishn', but it became difficult to adjust the schedule of other artistes. That’s when the production house decided to get in another actor to play the part. I am back now and am willing to put in extra hours for the show.”

A rather rare saga of double swapping we witnessed here.

I am low key over this track and it has barely started. KaRam has a few good scenes occasionally but that is usually from Balram's end and in less than 5 min CVs make Krishn the annoying p virus one. I mean that is just how I feel.😆 I do not think there will be a lot of KaRam but if there is do let me know cuz I gave up on following the show. I will save those scenes so I can have a few more KaRam moments to rewatch😃

Indian TV show makers and media interviewers never have and never will care for supporting actors and characters.

LOVE LOVE LOVE is only ROMANTIC 😡 Krishn is gonna romance with two ladies hence the interview is done with the two ladies.

Very mad that Basant was not part of the interview especially since he has been part of the show longer. But who am I kidding CVs have barely treated his character with respect and the bachas viewers and media interviewers are showing us that😭

I hate when people say supporting characters are not important. I want to ask all these people if they can walk around without their spines If I were to remove it right now?!?!🤢 Supporting character make leads more interesting but only a small group of people will understand that😒(Sorry for this little rant paragraph😆just annoyed)

I need to stop liking supporting characters
