Seeing as Balram currently has reduced screentime in RK anyway, hopefully the makers have actually relaxed Basant's 25-days-a-month time bookings for now, which will allow him and his VG colleagues to film their scenes mostly during the day rather than having to do constant night shifts like they had to do previously. 😊 Hopefully Basant will also have more time to get some well deserved rest in among all this.

It does sound like an unfortunate situation for the other actor, Pratham, but he will be fine and I wish him well for his future projects. And by the way, this is the most high-profile "double swap" that has happened in VG so far but definitely not the only one!

We certainly come across replacements in TV shows too often and it might not come across as too much of a surprise but seldom does it happen that an actor who is replaced earlier re-joins the show replacing the current actor.

If that sounds complex, the situation truly turned out to be.

Actor Pratham Kunwar went on to replace Basant Bhatt in Sony TV's Vighnaharta Ganesha back in September but now, Bhatt has replaced Kunwar as the latter has quit the show. Yes! That's right. In an interview with Bombay Times, Kunwar opened up on his reason to exit from the show. He said, "“To begin with, I wasn’t happy with the way my character was shaping up. Out of the 15 days a month blocked by the production house, I was being called to shoot for only three days. They promised me that my track will increase soon, however, that didn’t happen. They eventually told me that they are getting the original actor back. I was shocked. Having said that, I don’t grudge anyone, as I feel fortunate to have got the opportunity to play such an iconic character. The only grouse is that I had chosen this project over another that I was offered around the same time.”

When it comes to Bhatt who did exit the show earlier and is now back on it said, "Apparently, the channel wanted me back in the show for the upcoming track and hence, the production house approached me. I hadn’t quit 'Vighnaharta Ganesha'. In fact, I was managing it along with 'RadhaKrishn', but it became difficult to adjust the schedule of other artistes. That’s when the production house decided to get in another actor to play the part. I am back now and am willing to put in extra hours for the show.”

A rather rare saga of double swapping we witnessed here.

As much as I am happy for Basant to be part of VG but this production house seems a bit unprofessional🤔maybe thats just me but they seem to make decisions overnight and inform their actors last minute.

Either way hoping the best for Basant and the other actor as well.

RK i have no more hopes for Balram maybe Basant can get a good track in VG even if I do not watch that show if I hear anything good from here I might check out that episode.

RK makers are romantic love obsessed people, they literally avoid basant , partly because of insecurity and partly because he is not connected with anant prem.

well we don't know if pratham was asked to leave or he left on his own. of course as a fan i would like to believe BB's void was felt so contiloe remembered him again 😃

i hope so too, what is the need of occupying him with 25 days a month with this much screen time. on the other hand i am very pleased to the treatment he is getting now ever since he returned. and if hints are taken in consideration , a major kartikeya centric track is coming up next 😛😉 You know right 😛

I am low key over this track and it has barely started. KaRam has a few good scenes occasionally but that is usually from Balram's end and in less than 5 min CVs make Krishn the annoying p virus one. I mean that is just how I feel.😆 I do not think there will be a lot of KaRam but if there is do let me know cuz I gave up on following the show. I will save those scenes so I can have a few more KaRam moments to rewatch😃

RK me mera mann nahi raha, i am enjoying vg instead, maza aa raha hai .

KaRam had two good scenes last week, incidentally both were without mention of p virus or ladies... bhai bhai wali feeling aayi. aaj maza nahi aaya with excessive influence of p virus in their scene😛

if you like you can try vg IMO, he is being treated with respect and proportional focus is on his character 😳 at least that was the case in last 2 episodes

I might check out VG just for Basant's track. KaRam can now only be tied to the p virus so no hope for them to get any brother focused moments.

I still have some scenes I want to see and am hoping we get it some time but not keeping any high hopes for that🤔

One thing that VG production has over RK is they treat all their characters with respect. Not treat them like trash just to make Ganesh look better. Swastik has to make Balram the dude that is always confused and dumb to make Krishn look super knowledgeable but only on the p virus.

👍🏼 kartikeya is being the elder brother Balram should have been. His authority as elder is so well acknowledged.

On another hand, rk me sirf characters ka chehra hi same bacha hai, personality completely different
