See the thing is...we are thinking as AnuPre fans and Veena is purely thinking as Pre's mother. She has no idea Sonalika is Komolika or the fact that Anu never really married Sona. In her eyes he is now married to a nice girl whom his family loves while her pregnant daughter is wasting her life for a man who will probably never come back to her life. She fears Pre will destroy her life waiting for Anu ...there is no guarantee that his memory will come back...and that is why she is pushing her for the marriage. Her intentions are not wrong but the way she forced Pre is.
