Alright, so I've been seeing a lot of posts about Ananya and comparisons with Beyhadh 1. I really don't want any comparison comments or anything about a 3rd character.
I haven't been fond of Ananya's character from the beginning and mainly because... If you are in love with someone and you repeatedly keep flirting with them, inserting yourself into their family AFTER they have told you that they have 0 feelings for you and that they do not want to pursue a relationship with you then it's just very...unfair of you. It puts undue pressure on the other person. It is okay if she does not want to move on or of she wants to pursue a one sided love but it is not okay to put the onus on rudra.
I know a lot of you will say that she saiiiid they are her feelings to deal with and her problem....but are they really ? Especially when she flirts with Rudra and has made it clear to him she's oh so much in love with him. I mean, if Rudra fell in love with some girl, would he actually go to ananya and tell her knowing it would hurt her feelings? Ananya can never be unbiased until she distances herself. Plus, honestly...It seems very immature for such a well educated, smart, confident woman. I wish they had let her character be...without this dumb love angle.
Also, the comment Rishi made...like that's pretty insulting na? I know the makers intended it to be lighthearted but still.
All in all, I'm kind of tired of seeing the cliched mahan best friend (male/female) who acts like they don't mind their unrequited love but can't actually keep their feelings aside( which is logical, they are human!)
