I really want to understand are people still enjoying this relationship even now? Earlier it was cute friendship type which I understand people liked. But ever since they know the Sidnaaz thing is popular the whole showmance with kambal and dances is getting too much. And I absolutely dislike Vikas for this.😡. I still can’t forget the scene where he literally forced Sana into Shukla’s bed when Shukla was angry with her. In any case my point being other than at night when they have to sleep in the same bed or do showmance with her, he is awful to her. Saying things like ‘ Dimaag nahin hain’ ‘ chup baith’ ‘ Gadhi’ and what not. Isn’t this just awful to watch?

Yup, its actually deeply problematic.

Sana is a free-spirit. Call her fake or immature or innocent or dumb or smart or whatever, but she is a 100% free-spirit as a person. She likes keeping friendly relations with everyone and doesn't like feeling caged under pressure.

Meanwhile, Shukla is a controlling ego-maniac. To Shukla, friendship = blind bhakti. If somehow the show unfolded differently, and Shukla/Mahira became close at the start of the show, I think Shukla would be very happy about it because Mahira is genuinely the type who will be fiercely loyal to her partner/friend and go against everyone in their support. Sana is not Mahira, or Aarti. She is herself, and her personality has shined across the screen because of who she naturally is.

So, now the issue is three-fold:

- Vikas, celebrity guests, even Gutthi keep talking about how SidNaaz is liked and thus they are feeling the pressure to not just stick together but to 'do it in a 'showy' way. Eg- the bheege hoth tere cringefest performance. Its starting to feel extremely fake and boring.

- Sana is feeling really caged due to Shukla's controlling nature. When Asim sacrificed his workout belt for her, it was so clear in Sana's eyes that Shukla should have openly appreciated it as Sana's friend, but instead he was being grumpy about it. Similarly, it is also starting to hit Sana that when she is upset, others console her, while Shukla himself gets upset at her allowing others to console her. Its a really frustrating relationship, plus their whole world is only really 12 people, so there is nowhere to run and distract yourself from this controlling guy.

- There is nothing they can do together for the cameras except fight and makeup. At the end of the day, they are not compatible. Shukla is a khadus, quiet, controlling, thinker type. Sana is a fun-loving, cheerful, gregarious, spontaneous, social butterfly type. So, because they feel the pressure of being together, they are sticking together more than they naturally would and thus the fights/makeups have become common and boring now.

If I was Sana at this point. I would probably want to distance myself from him a little bit. It might hurt her game, or who knows, maybe the SidNaaz fans would switch to her side. Afterall, she is the fun one! Shukla is a super boring guy personality-wise, so if Sana just ignores him, he will barely be seen on camera because he doesn't participate in tasks due to illness and he doesn't do any housework.

That's one of the reasons makers send heaps of people in to keep sidnaaz intact.

Totally agree.

Its sana who makes sidnaz interesting, her contribution to this shipped term is way more than siddharth's. And without her, his raha saha humane part in this show is no more... i think he realises this and isliye he is carrying this on

She say calls him kutta/kamina on a regular. Even slaps him and what not. If sid calls her a "gadhi" or says something when he's pissed it's really not that big a deal.

They both are like this with each other. Why do people care so much 🤷🏻‍♀️
