I wouldn't want Abir Rajvansh as Mishti's life-Partner ...or the Rajvansh family as her new family/home.
I strongly believe that being together, being there for each other during the good-times is simply not enough. It's the bad days, the absolutely horrible days that count. Those are the days when you need that one person who you can rely upon/count on. One should be able to hear the unspoken words; those said when the rest of the world sees you standing in silence -that is what truly matters AND Sadly Abir has failed Mishti in that aspect on several occasions.
My statement that I wouldn't want Abir for Mishti does not come for a place of malign or contempt. The man has a good heart - It's just that I just believe a girl like Mishti deserves someone who values her, cherishes her, who would safeguard her spirit and zest for life - EVEN AFTER COMING FROM A BROKEN FAMILY, who knows what he has when she is in his life.
I did see small bursts of these things here and there but it's simply not enough.
Because when she needed him the most, when THEIR relationship needed him the most - Abir Failed!
When Abir's hand was forced by Meenakshi, when he was asked to choose between Kunal & Mishti - He chose Kunal. He chose his brother- NO QUALMS about it. Meenakshi was dancing on his head like a devil unleashed - he just did what he thought would stop the dancing.
But the fact that he did not feel the need to explain to Mishti; tht he dismissed her, that he chose to break her heart..her trust in the most brutal manner (Saying all the crap that she comes from a Broken Family) just shows how weak he is. Sorry, but doing what Abir did is WEAK in my view. It's fighting for your love, finding a way when there is NONE that actually qualifies as strong. But Abir didn't resort to any.
And now once again, Abir has chosen the easy route - Initially he believed Mishti must have had a reason to tell Kunal that he is not a Rajvansh (BTW, Totally didn't agree with Mishti here. No matter what the circumstances). But sadly the life-span of his belief...his faith lasted less than one would have hoped.
Abir hears just a part of the conversation and believes that Mishti did what she did out of spite to intentionally hurt Kunal. He then does not give her a second of his time; SURE there were other variables that came into play as well BUT Abir just gives her a piece of his mind & walks away.
But then if you think about it when has Abir shown that unfaltering faith in Mishti or their relationship like Mishti has?
Mishti's faith does not allow her to think even for one second that Abir does not love her anymore...she strongly believes there is a reason behind what he did. Even after facing a rejection like she did; her faith in them is UNTOUCHED. She believes in her heart that there is still a 'HUM' not just a 'YOU' or 'ME' ....which Abir clearly does not.
Mishti is trying so hard to make MishBir work - but Abir's head is so high up in the clouds (Metaphorically) that forget the unspoken words, even after Mishti is trying to talk to him point blank he is unable to hear the words.
I supposed Mishti can kidnap Abir and forcefully make him listen to what happened, what all went down before Mishti unintentionally blurted out the truth to Kunal. But should it really come to that ?
Also our TV Serials have a way of romanticizing such things which relationship experts would call 'Toxic' (In/For a relationship); and therefore evn if Mishti does all the work and wins Abir back we'll go be going Ga-Ga about it....but when that is the equation in a relationship - when one is overcompensating for the other always; is that a relationship any of us would want ?
I get that Abir is only human... and he has shown strength and resilience BUT only when it comes to his family. When it comes to them he is strong BUT when it comes to her he is not. And sadly even after putting her heart and soul and might into it - her strength to keep their relationship afloat is falling short.
