Govinda too, was kicked to the curb as soon as his films started flopping. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar has survived 16 straight flops because he's a dream to work with.

🤣 Exactly! Also, I find it hilarious how he tends to bring up his misdeeds in totally inappropriate places and totally overlooks it when maybe a little honest would be warranted.

Best example this season - when Sid and Asim went to jail in the first couple of weeks they both were whiny about it. To this, Salman said "You can't stand this jail? Then you wouldn't last a day in the real jail, trust me I know." And then everyone clapped. 😆 And they said sorry.

This guy is so delusional that he, after committing a serious hit and run crime plus illegally hunting an endangered species, he is drawing sympathy towards himself for his time in jail. Best part? Everyone knows he hasn't even done 0.1% of jailtime that someone else in his position would do. I swear, Salman would be like Aarti if he ever came to Bigg Boss. Totally lost about his own identity, and trying to play the uncle for everyone in every case. 😆

Yesterday's episode was most revealing. IMO, Rohit telling that to Asim means that the channel is finding it difficult to make Siddharth a clear winner and want Asim to back down so that Siddharth doesn't look that bad and they don't want more 'expose'. If Asim agrees, I think next in line will be Rashmi. It was interesting that Rohit stressed that Bigg Boss or Colors or Salman Khan has no reason to be partial. They had to attempt to justify not just Siddharth's actions but the channels and Salman's as well. Images have been ruined to such an extent that top damage control is being executed. As per me, that ship has long past sailed.

Again, the way Rohit told Siddharth that a permanent mark should not be left because of this show. That has already happened and Siddharth understood. That's why he became cranky. This show has spoiled his typical ITV hero image, soft and romantic which was his forte (like Bali ka Vadu & Dil Se Dil Tak). And casting Siddhartha as a hero is a risk now, with ITV already losing viewers by the year and over supply of TV actors wanting to make it big in the movies.

The extensive training, which I feel, Siddharth received when he was out of the house (typhoid) bit the dust within 5 days of his reentry. If he would have have continued on that trajectory, things could have been better for him. Ab pachtana kya, jab chidiya chug gayi khet.
