How deliberate is the bias? Are they playing us?

The bias reached an entirely new level this week!

Asim was left as a powerless captain with 4 people not working at all. He set up a system with people having 'back-up' duties, which all fell apart. He even did the washroom cleaning duty himself for 3 days. All this is seen in Unseen videos, and plenty of people have discussed it enough in scenes to fill up an episode. In season 8, Gautam was applauded and appreciated by Salman for working in his captaincy. There is a story here, an interesting/important one, that the makers are choosing not to tell and instead showing us SidNaaz's 857th fight/makeup.

The chindhigiri reached a max level when not all housemates were given food from home/favorites ordered by gharwalas. Woh bhee based on a purely biased task (that Bagga even openly announced and only Paras challenged it!) The winning team already had a gift-hamper anyway! Its a f**king Christmas/holidays thing - why exclude people in that?

I like Sana, but lets be real, there was NO WAY Vishal was winning the captaincy based on the order by which people were asked to sacrifice things. Asim was the true test/attempt at creating a dramatic moment (they were probably hoping he wouldn't sacrifice it so they could cut some more DHOKEBAAZ promos), but everyone else was clear on who they'd support. Why not have Madhurima or Arhaan among the first few names? At least that would give Sana a fight in the captaincy!

And sacrifice bhee what? A towel? A fu**king TOWEL? 🤣

And like, all the drama behind it - that it was given by his best friend and he wants a new one now? ITS A TOWEL! Am I going crazy here, or has the whole world gone crazy? Reviewers on YouTube are saying Sid made a sacrifice for Sana. Bro, its a towel!! Asim gave up his lifting belt, which is important for people with back issues. Paras gave up his limited edition Balenciaga kicks! THIS WAS A TOWEL!! 😆😆😆

(Side note: I have a feeling 'Sheena' wanted to hint Shukla that he should take showers more often when she gifted him the towel. 😆)

Gauahar, Gautam, Prince, Hina, Priyank, a bunch of film/TV critics and influencers, and even the most random - Zarine Khan LOL are openly annoyed about the bias! Are they doing this on purpose? Have they realized they can't have Sid as the winner, so they are doubling down on the bias to increase Asim's votebank? Like, WTF is going on. Camera facing actors have shaved their heads on this show as sacrifices man. This guy is destroying a towel? 🤣

Very true and frankly the screen space given to SS and shenaaz fight and romance is getting irritated now. Done with this boring

They were glorifying this dhokebaaz Thukla as someone who stands for Sana and his "big" "sacrifice" of painting his towel as a major gesture noble😆

You said what many of us want to say... how do people not see it, how can they actually unsee it???

This season is clearly biased towards one person that is SShukla. I haven’t seen a proper episode where they highlighted Asim’s dedication as a captain. The only episode I remember is when there was a fight between Mahira - madu-Arti for breakfast and they showed Asim working out as if he dont care.

Bigg boss is openly supporting SShukla without any sharam 🤢

As I have commented on some other thread as well, I too think the channel is now openly doing this bias for TRPs.

Some fans love it and some fans hate it. But they all watch it. End of the day the channel gets its viewers.

There’s no other proper content to show in this season. Only the fights are creating a buzz.

Sidnaaz unfortunately I think is loosing its charm sooner than they expected it to. The more they try to push it, more bored the audience is getting cuz it really seem forced now. the constant fighting/makeup is getting old cuz the fights have no substance. Plus Sana smiling during fights doesn’t allow us to take it seriously. She had a good opportunity with the “expectation” fight but they totally blew it. That would have been great content had they gotten a better script.

It would be so much fun if after boosting Shukla's ego, the channel decides to burst his bubble right close to the finale...I want to see a WKW jisme sirf Shukla ki dhulaai ho 🤣

Not even watching anymore i fast forward all scenes and just watch the promo for next day. Its extremely biased

😆 Seriously man!

As of even ~ three weeks ago, I was pretty sure that they were just using him as a ratings-cow and were going to massively rain down on him at some point. But then, they've totally gone all-in now, plus I learned about his history with Manisha Sharma, (Shukla started under her, moved channels with her, won Fear Factor despite being eliminated THRICE!) so now I feel like maybe they are just above caring and are gonna push forward with him as the winner afterall.

My only big doubt at this point is: do they care about legacy and precedence for future seasons? Cus after allowing a guy like Shukla to go crazy this year, it really sets a scary tone for the future.

Celebs are going to be very careful signing up: they'll probably want to charge a bomb, or maybe even want contracts ensuring strictly no violence/fairness in rules enforcement.

Also, audiences who are watching now because they have become emotionally attached to Rashmi, Asim, Sana, basically anyone but Shukla I think will be unlikely to come back next season if this ends in the massive disappointment of a Shukla win. You never know though!
