Well, it had already reached a level where questions were asked even by neutral viewers. Looks like the cat is slowly coming out of the bag.

No matter who's fan you are, PLEASE don't try to defend/undermine the bias here,

Violence is violence

Misogyny is misogyny

Bullying is bullying

Victim-blaming is victim-blaming ("Shut up Rashmi! You are spoiling your reputation!" - Salman 🤢)

I'm so happy to see this article. Even if Sid isn't evicted, or if the bias isn't loosened, at least Colors will realize that there is a section of fans who are not swayed by cheesy promo background music, manipulative editing, SidNaaz drama, and biased social media posts/polls.

What you guys think?

Will something come of this?

Or aise hee chalta raheha yeh season, and end with Sid as the finalist/winner?

This is the power of common people! Does not matter who wins..But the fact that colours would know that the audience watching their show are not stupid! You can’t fool people

For reaaaal!

Like, I've never ever been this into a TV show. I swear if this bias is a way to keep viewers glued then these people are all geniuses.🤣 [Although to be fair I haven't seen a full episode in weeks and only watch little clips here and there now - but its enough to make my blood boil! 😆 and keep me checking for updates ]

At this point, if there is a Change.org petition or something like that I'd be so happy to participate. If anyone knows of anything like that please do let me know.

Even Koena tweeted about it recently. Like violence was one thing because it was directed against a guy who was himself not making too big a deal about it. But this recent shit? Still can't believe Salman Khan, one of the biggest movie stars in the world, stood there and justified this misogyny and bullying.

Raj nayyar deleting the tweet and Himanshi spilling how Asim went unconscious due to medications when Shukla tried to beat Rashmi and Asim saved her and that was edited out !!

Also how housemates knew paras was going!

Rashmi is questioning colors and bb again and again about the bias !!

More trouble for her !!

These things are getting too hard to ignore... Many top TV celebs are openly addressing their bias on social media... Moreover the tweet by Raj nayak kind of confirmed it that there is something fishy going on behind the scenes and this Manish Sharma is behind all these...

Thank you for this post!

This is BOMB information!

Loved your post, most important is the one in @bold - victim blaming.

First it was the same Mahira sharma who was victim-blamed for messing with Sid.

Now it is Rashmi.

if people like Vishal speak up, they r shut down by saying, why are you meddling when it wasn’t your issue.

But Sana, arti etc. are all allowed to jump into fights with others when they are protecting Sid!!

Such hypocrites all around and such biasedness this season!👎🏼

Well, that's the interesting thing! I, too, always thought the channel was running after TRPs and hence keeping Shukla around despite the violence. But now, its a little different.

They are actively promoting him as the hero. Promos are cut with background music running triumphant over his dialogues (which are not even that impactful or meaningful in context), his scenes with Sana are getting major screentime, and other's are directly being shown as negative. For example - Shukla's stories of kaam-chori are legendary in the house. 😆 Yet the show never made a story out of it. Now, the most recent promo for tonight shows Madhurima refusing to clean some dishes and the voiceover says "Madhurima ki kam-chori."

So, its not really TRP anymore. His presence is a TRP thing, but not the over the top bias he enjoys na?

The way I see it, there are three types of fans right now:

- Shukla fans

These people have been swayed by the promos, like the SidNaaz nautanki, or maybe are fans from his previous work. If they have stuck around with Sid after the violence and the misogyny + sl*t-shaming, then frankly, they are not going anywhere

- Non-Shukla fans

These include Rashami/Asim/others fans, but also people that are just supporting 'others' over Shukla. They just don't like him (and he certainly has given them enough reason not to like him!)

- Neutral fans

I think THESE are the fans that Colors should target since the other two types are watching religiously anyway. And the problem with this biased approach is that its THESE fans who are getting turned off by not just Shukla, but the entire show.

So, in a way, the bias has become so over-the-top that its actually BAD for TRP. This is why the Manisha Sharma thing made me raise my eyebrows immediately. I don't tend to fall for these types of conspiracy (ish) theories, but this actually explains the situation quite well.

Makes sense. But my question is how many neutral people watch these promos.....if most of them are only watching without picking any sides can easily see the bias.
