I completely agree with your post.

No one is asking them to get into their personal stuff. All that is expected out of them is to calm them down or put some sense into them or just being there to support.

I just expected this much from Aarti. She could have just been there with her to calm her down. Just saying stuff "I'm always there for you" doesn't help. And if she's gonna be there for her outside the house as she had once mentioned also doesn't help. A friend has to be there standing by you irrespective of the circumstances and guiding you where you're going right/wrong

Only arhaan and vikas were there before the chai fight started, it's not like sid told her about ghar mein lena thingy out loud , none of the housemates heared it themselves they just went there after the fight escalated.

I personally feel they did good job not getting into this.

I think in this house nobody should expect anything from anyone. One should stand up for for himself/herself coz everyone in the house is there for the game. Heck, why BB house many so called friends turn their back on their friends when they are in genuine need. Yeh toh BB hai where relationships don't matter. Where are Hina n Luv today? Are they even on talking terms? Vikas n Hiten? Vikas n Arshi? Everyone in the house uses each other for the game. And its unfair to expect them to unnecessarily take stands especially when the matter doesn't concern them. Because baadme like Vishal ki har WKV pe bajti hai unki bhi bajegi.

Yes Arti should have told Shukla that what he said was wrong but she is Arti we're speaking abt. She puts Thukla on a pedestal and will never go against him. Agar woh aisi doormat type hai toh why even expect anything from her. Don't ppl in our real lives backstab us? Don't stand up for us? Yeh duniya aisi hi hai. Jahaan faayda hota hai wahi kaam karti hai.
