Dancing besides Prabhudeva only exposed Varun’s weaknesses . He is nowhere close to Prabhudeva in terms of screen presence and dancing.

Glad they kept that they kept most of the beats and the lyrics of the original...evergreen song. Love it!!

Parbhudeva rightfully owns the song. Varun and Shraddha are not up to the mark especially Varun. Varun is like a background dancer here.

after ages watch the old version and new version and they kept the choreography the same for the last beat which what made the song iconic than and now and PD slay it and bring it to another level both times

Kill Tanishq Bagchi career before he kills all good songs by remixing them.

Yes you have, and I never agreed with that until now. I guess Prabu being such an amazing dancer is really highlighting Varun’s mediocrity in dance. Actually the first time I saw this video I remembered your comments about his dancing.


@MoonOrchid, valid points. Except I don’t think his insecurities started with Kalank. I think October and SD not doing as well as expected affected him too. Perhaps Kalank just took things over the edge for him.


For the longest time he was able to milk Badlapur’s critical and financial success as a sign that he’s talented and can sell any genre. His commercial films did very well too. I think he was hoping the same thing with October that he got from Badlapur, which he didn’t get. SD didn’t become his non masala commercial success that he wanted. So I’m sure those affected him too because it proved his critics that he was only good at masala entertainers. But still none of these movies flopped so he still had the boasting option of how he’s having a successful streak because he’s never given a flop. He even bragged about it himself on KWK. He was being compared with Rajesh Khanna at one point for having a 10 successful movies in a row. His PR really milked all of this. But Kalank failing and failing badly took all that away from him. I think even if his next two become hits he might not be as cocky and confident as before because in way it will show him as someone who can only succeed in a masala genre.


You know that adage nothing succeeds like success? Perfect example here. Varun’s dialogue delivery always sucked and his weak voice amplified that. ABCD2 trailer was pretty bad too. But he was coming off of Badlapur then and those flaws weren’t as highlighted as they are being now. But he’s still young and a Bollywood insider. He’s got a lot of opportunities to bounce back.

Shraddha was hardly there in the video 😏

If they had given some more prominence to her and cut down Varun's parts, the song would have looked better.

I used to think VD was a good dancer until I saw this. Next to PD... but then next to PD, most would look ridiculous 😆. The female dancer with PD waa Nora, right? SHE is matching him, amazingly. Even more than Madhuri in Pukar. Is Nora a trained dancer?

Best remake of a song. PD is legend. Nora is a trained dancer and it shows. She is doing her thing confidently. Shraddha was solid too. Varun looked lame. Background dancers are all great.

Movie gonna be a super duper hit. Blockbuster is possible too but will depend on content and competition.

Lulz Varun cant dance saala.

That dance plus girl danced well..I wanted to check out who it was the first time I watched this video,went back and realized its that girl. hope she has more dancing scenes.
