The entertainment industry is a tricky one and it’s not respected and for a good reason. Most of the stars be it TV or Bollywood indulge in a lot of nautanki. In Bollywood atleast the top league actors are able to retain some of their dignity whereas most of them find themselves embroiled in one or the other controversy. TV industry is worse coz of the most of the celebs are desperate to move towards the big screen and off late the kind of controversies they get into just to get fame is disgusting. Even the so called TV couples in a bid to mimic movie stars pretend to be in a relationship to promote their show and this is a common pattern. Show gets over and they miraculously break up. And take any reality show. They r full of drama. The only TV celebrity who probably walked out of big boss with his dignity intact was Hiten Tejwani. How many such instances do u see? I can’t blame someone if they have a prejudiced notion about TV industry coz off late it’s turning into a mad circus. It’s not what it once used to be where we had good actors who were professional and let their work speak for them. Nowadays it’s all about who is popular on SM, who wears the skimpiest of skimpy outfits, and who is dating whom and who is a controversy child. That’s it. Ever since Sonakshi became their DIL they have been in news one way or the other. It’s hard for the Sippy’s to take it all in. They need time to digest everything that’s happening around. Not saying she should compromise on her work front. No but she should help them understand the ways of her industry and trust takes time. She needs to build it carefully. They have always guarded their privacy and a lot of well known families prefer that. They don’t like being in news. She was innocent where Pooja’s adoption news breakout was concerned but who will the Sippy’s blame here? Nobody other than family knew this and it was Sonakshi’s interview that leaked this news. So somewhere they r having to pay a price in compromising their privacy because of her stardom. If Sonakshi was any other normal girl would the media stalk her and take pictures of her workout in her tracks and not just her it was Pooja too in her night clothes. That is their private space and it was compromised again coz Sonakshi was a star. Not her fault but somewhere indirectly they are impacted because of this. In which way is Rohit’s profession impacting Sonakshi or her family? Until and unless he gets involved in some kind of illicit activities that won’t be the case. Rastogis are not losing their private space coz of Rohit. But just to add to it I do agree Sonakshi is nowhere at fault here and maybe she could just have an open conversation with Naren or anyone else having a concern and put their fears to rest. That’s all.

They have turned her into Parvati in the real sense and this is annoying. Always meddling in affairs that don’t concern her, trying to be a righteous bahu etc etc which is annoying right now.

Liking somebody as a person when they are not really associated with u is different from dealing with the aftermath of the association. Yes they need to deal with but let’s face it. They never got the time nor did Ronakshi for that sake. That marriage happening at that stage was wrong on so many levels. Rohit should have dated her for some time and she should have slowly become a part of the family which would have made this transition easy. They wanted Sonakshi the girl as their bahu. Not Sonakshi the star. But now that they are dealing with the latter it will take a lot of time to adjust. Expecting them to just get used to it right away isn logical.

They themselves wanted a fast marriage if i remember it right ..veena and old lady wanted marriage so soon

So it's their duty to accomadate her star status ..not the other way.
