The actor isn't a part of the show post leap due to personal reasons. Mickey (the character) was spoken about as being in USA. Preet and Minnie both are in touch with him. Minnie said she used to regularly speak with him but didn't have the strength to pick his call post Hanita death. I guess if they deem it important they'll bring him back with another actor?
