You're 100% right DG and I echo the sentiments which is why I said prerna is comparatively relatable for an itv FL, in that she is more human. Even a small thing we see these days in the way she is dressed is testament to that because usually we see FLs look perfectly groomed, no matter what. In such a case to see a naturally dusky skinned FL, looking tired in her final trimester is itself a great achievement. It is these little nuances that im talking about. The rest we are not looking for a role model in an itv FL.

And honestly, hearing talks of feminism and progressive or regressive content from people who celebrate a man for "teaching" a woman her self worth and self respect and expect to her to be eternally grateful for the same sounds really hollow, so spare me!!

@bold Folks who chanted EMA EMA coz Prerna gave a damn about her marriage to bajaj should be the last ones to worry about her progressive or regressive nature.

I m glad this prerna is selfish wen it comes to her family...she isn't mahanta ki Devi.. doesn't go around giving lectures n on a slap n killing spree🙏🙏 she is relatable bcoz she is human just like us...she doesn't support the wrong but is not ready to kill n punish her loved once in the name of morals....

See, I wanted her to fight back during the last track.I so hated it when she accepted her fate and did nothing to come out of the marriage. Agreed that Prerna did not do anything remarkable but what I found to be refreshing was her not staying in the marriage for the sake of the child even after the husband was willing to let go. Normally, itv FLs don't divorce and they definitely won't say bye bye to a step child the way Prerna did. It is not easy to love another child more than your own but ITV FLs do that. Prerna didn't .You normally see the fl transforming the man child with her love and heart of gold. That didn't happen here fortunately. Her ex-husband gave her the divorce papers and she didn't even look confused for a minute. Like hope said, she knew what this marriage meant for her and was more than happy to get out of it when the opportunity came. I know the writers never meant to show anything progressive in this show. Galti se kuch progressive content mil gaya thanks to overnight track changes 😆

I agree with u completely...I have no problem with her not doing much but at least do "something" 😆Like at least she could have tried to free herself from bajaj or express herself, her disappointment or inability to do.so...here also she is mouthing dialogues like anurag mera main anurag ki, sindoor bacha and all.but not do anything to get anurag ? Make no effort at all? Either to expose komo or warn the other basus or tell her family only? This has been the case in every single track..she doesnt even have a problem with anurag and komo living as husband wife ?anurag used to burn in jealousy when he saw.prerna wth bajaj...

Let's.forget about progressive and regressive..bec itv can never be progressive ..progressive is controversial.. doesnt get trps..they have to fit he heroine into the perfect woman mould , show her as cliched..ever forgiving ever loving ever sacrificing ever dumb (bec vamps have to fit in) ..good heart nice heart..kind heart... 😆Ok I am out of herr..its always nice to have a good chat
