Amid the violent agitation against the amended Citizenship Act, Jamia protest and Bollywood celebrities coming out in support of the students, Akshay Kumar is currently facing the wrath of netizens. Yesterday, the actor had liked a video that allegedly mocked the attack on the protest. A screenshot of the actor’s ‘Like’ on the post left netizens and fans fuming in anger and they started sharing the picture and also slamming the actor for the same.Akshay was quick enough to clarify about his stance on the same and explained the reason behind it on his Twitter.

“Regarding the ‘like’ on the tweet of Jamia Milia students, it was by mistake. I was scrolling and accidentally it must have been pressed and when I realised I immediately unliked it as In no way do I support such acts,” he tweeted.

But few hours before, director Anurag Kashyap’s tweet has caught our attention. It was shocking when he was seen agreeing to a Twitter user who trolled Akki and called him ‘spineless’. The user wrote, “I have immense respect for Akshay Kumar. It must be extremely difficult to be trained in Martial Arts with a spine missing.” To this, the director replied, “Absolutely”. Sid ka original tweet was genuine. Baki sab 'But' 'however' 'democracy 🇮🇳 Zindabad' karke dono side khel rahe hain.

Mujhe agar kisi baat ka dukh wo hain Shah ki silence. Its his Alma mater. Its his crowd. The Shah I knew would have spoken up,atleast a vague tweet. This radio silence only reiterates how paranoid he has become or how much he fears saying something about Modi.
