Do you guys think Kartik is the next big thing in bollywood?

Kaartik is definitely an emerging superstar. I liked him in Pati, Patni aur woh. But he is not in the same league as Ayushman, Ranbir and Ranveer. He doesn't have the acting chops to compete with them.

I agree with minty he is rising superstar bt not in same league of RKRS or Aayushman... He has long way to go to get there.. I hope he continue his steady rise n one day he will be new age Akshay kumar❤️

Yes, his last three got 8cr opening. He is the 8cr hero.

Have you ever seen all of his movies? Please check the review of all of his movies, where everyone has praised all his acting. he has screen presence and good actor. Lot of people say he is good in comedy and monologue only. He did not have opportunity to played varied roles as he doesn't belong to filmy family. I think Kartik has two things that work for him

- he is average looking boy next door, so his status is attainable for the masses

- he doesn’t sign up for movies that require him to portray a range of acting, his roles and characters do all the thinking for you.

He is like a Rajnikanth or for that matter even a SRK... for an average guy in India, he is representation and that’s why he will be a superstar

PS- yes it will be interesting to see him in Imtiaz’s movie, but I will be honest, Imtiaz suffers from “star sabotage” ...his Harry met Sejal speaks for itself
