my theory

the guy in the picture with maya is mj. he had an affair with maya..rudra knows about his affair, that's why he hate mj but rudra doesn't know about the girl's identity. mj broke maya's trust by not divorcing his wife. he abused maya and left her forever.so maya is baat pe revenge lene ayi hai.

Both Mrityunjay and Rudra are related to Lord Shiva. And as per I recall there are rudraksh embedded in that bracelet. May be old Maya/ Mahi gifted that bracelet to MJ from whom Rudra got it. Now Rudra hates MJ. He won't take anything from MJ and wearing his bracelet 24x7 is beyond absurdity. But may be he wears it as a tribute to his long lost love, his Maya/ Mahi. He clearly knows what his father did, if not the whole thing but certainly to some extent to loathe his father's existence. May be he collected the bracelet where he lost his love forever and hence keeps on wearing always.

This seems to be the most simplest and most believable justification. But I am really expecting something better from the makers. I dont want MJ to be plain negative.

I did not get your point. Why will Rudra wear MJ's bracelet as a tribute to his love? Am I missing something.

Rudra sure knows about something bad that MJ did (from the dialogues and scenes, it seems that MJ cheated on his wife, hence Rudra hates him. Even Antara knows that MJ doesnt loves her (yest her expressions in her scene with Rishi)

This bracelet confuses the hell out of me 🤣 Please answer my doubts.

1. Man in the picture : It seems that Maya loves/loved that guy. If it is Mriyunjay, I dont know, she looked calm the first time she was shown talking to the photo, but yesterday MJ's presence made her go all numb. It could be her father or brother or lover.

2. The man in the loving flashbacks : Suggests that the bracelet guy has to be her lover. Cannot be her father/brother.

3. The man who abuses in the flashbacks : The same lover turned out to be a deceit and an abuser. Reason? Maybe Maya was just a fling for him. Makes sense if it is MJ. Surely MJ had an affair which is why Rudra hates him and Antara knows as well.

4. Rudra's bracelet : He probably has no idea it is MJ's bracelet. He likes it because fashion hence wears it!

Or just that we are overthinking and Maya had a bracelet making company in the past. So her father, mother, brother, MJ and everyone in his family had the bracelet 🤣 MJ tried to hadpo her bracelet company hence she protested and MJ ended up destroying her because all he wanted was bracelet business 🤣 Rudra still wears the bracelet coz he's sanskaari and doesnt want to disrespect a gift given by someone he doesnt know

I just don't want mj-maya affair thing. Its just too simple and common. Come on CVS be creative and give us something different and complex and evil to justify maya's sanam. There are so many thriller novels out in the world, if you must than steal the plot from there rather than other khise pite ITv shows.

I also want something unexpected 🥺. MJ-Maya affair is just too predictable. Or at least make the reveal more interesting...

What if someone, maybe dadi, gave both Rudra and MJ same bracelets in the past when they liked each other and had strong father-son bond. Its possible Rudra won't be that young and he might be involved in business with his father at the time or maybe about to join his business after college. Hence a blessing gift from dadi to both.
