The episodes lack impact, it all just feels very superficial as its happening very abruptly and without proper built up, i liked Ishita and Ruhi convo and i also liked the fact that people around Ishita, the people who love her and have accepted her wholeheartedly have somehow forgot the fact that her life was incomplete back then, she was roaming around with the tag of being a Baanjh for the longest time and has gone through a lot of rejections once in life and she herself is shown reiterating it, somehow Ruhi's discovery brought back those feelings which she had forgotten over the years, it just opened old wounds for her which were never completely healed even when she had Ruhi, she always felt herself lucky to have these people in life may be she also felt she got more than she deserved when she was inadequate, i liked how they didnt stress much on Ishita through others and still vocalised her trauma and pain of past subtly only through her making way for her real emotions when others have totally forgotten that fact about her as for them she was always complete but otherwise Episodes lack punch.

I might not be in majority here but I kinda liked how they are planning to do a role reversal with yhc , it's easier for divorced men to think of second chances , dating again , get married to a single women but the vice versa doesn't happen much ,especially when there is a child involved.

So yhc bringing in this whole concept of a single mother to me is quite interesting, there are so many females who stick to the marriage just because of the child ,they are okay to tolerate disrespectful partners and family members just because for the lady once she is married and has a family as a mother she stops thinking more about her family and kid which is great but not if that's taken for granted.Somehow her individuality gets lost , she stops thinking for herself.

This kind of concept of finding love for a second time would be interesting for me of course that has nothing to do with the chemistry of the yhm leads that's something once in a lifetime

I would rather prefer watching the two again in a web series playing characters their age this whole TV serial concept of leap and ott drama doesn't seem exciting anymore , yhm was a classic and am glad they are stopping and not further ruining it by exaggerating it.

Now that the show is ending i just realised DT is the only one among the entire cast who has featured in maximum episodes like almost all the episodes telecasted till today, i dnt remember she being completely missing from YHM for too many episodes over these years, out of almost 1900 episodes she must have featured in almost 1800+ over these 6 years while others have been MIA.

Shireen, Aly, Raj, Ruhanika, Mr and Mrs iyer, Mr and Mrs Bhalla, Pankaj, Anita all of them have been away from the show for longest time either by choice or because they didnt have the tracks, some of them were away for personal reasons like Shireen, some went to explore other mediums like Aly, some just went on longest leave to travel like Raj and were never brought back, some left like Shruti,Resha, Shehnajzi, Ruhanika used to be away due to studies and old generation and Pankaj were away as they didnt have much to do, even Shehnazji when was there used to come and go to London to visit her family, Anita well lesser said the better she can come and go on her will, like if she starts missing YHM and wants to shoot she can call her bestie and tell her and her track will be written and she will be brought back😃 jokes apart like she has been away too, KP also took the sabatical for KKK for 4/5 months and he was away on a business trip in the show when he got married, Dt was kidnapped during her marraige but she came back in like 2/3 episodes, so by giving separate shots over last year she still managed to be there in almost every episode, i m not justifying just saying that somehow daily soaps in India cant afford their female lead being away for more than 2 days at a stretch, while others can easily be shown going away and coming back but not the female lead, some different logic altogether and she was by effect seen in almost all the episodes, must be a task to manage for any female lead in a show and somehow they are paid lesser than their male counterparts in terms of remuneration which is also the case in YHM, KP's per day is more than DT's if reports are to be believed which is kinda unfair for any female actress! But again there is a different thought that since the medium is women driven men have no incentive other than money to be there and play the second fiddle luckily YHM gave equal opportunities to both in terms of weightage atleast for over 2 years. Anyways just a observation so thought of sharing it!

The lead of YHC isn’t exactly a single mother. She is just taking care of her dead sister’s son. Let’s see how they show the relationship between the aunt and her nephew.

YHM was endearing because of this special bond that Ruhi shared with Ishita, who was in no way connected to her. So I’d expect a similar bond to be shared by the child and the ML in YHC.

BTW, I find the ML’s character sketch very typical. Why a rock star? And I don’t find Abrar very convincing as a rock star TBH.

Thats where the concept fell flat for me! They just couldnt break the stereotype! She is not a single mother, she has adopted a child by her choice which can make it difficult for her to get married no denying also its her nephew whose parents are no more so its not entirely by choice the child is from the family so its obvious anyone will look out for a motherless child when he is in ur family so they have done enough coushning to make it more acceptable to larger audience and not exactly a breakthrough story!

I guess they had some other story initially for the spin off. Something about a dad of a teenage son. Apparently no actor was willing to okay such roles.

Nowadays actors are shying away from playing mother roles. So maybe they had to tweak the story so that they can get someone on board.
Frankly, Sargon looks too young to be a mother. I don’t think these actors would have signed if they were actually playing old roles.
YHM began as a mature story and coincidentally DivAn were also in their late 20s. It just fit in.
