Asim was with Rashmi trying to ruin her makeup. Paras started to ask Asim to do something else. Sid told him that he was already doing something without having any order why was he moving him from there.

he knew he got least votes still got saved by bb, then in next nominations again got saved by bb & himanshi, a far more popular contestant got evicted by a twist introduced by bb, though he clearly knows that himanshi is one of 3-4 most polpular contestants of the house currently, and their is no chance that she get low votes, and then after his treatment he is put into secret room with sid(and he clearly knows that sid is the most favoured contestant this season, thats why he changed sides & joined him), he is smart enough to guess that he has become another favourite of bb, so ofcourse he is being over confident

the way he was asking bb when bhau was sing his perfume, 'big boss mujhe mera perfume abhi la kar diya jaaye', he was almost ordering bb

p.s. though to me it looks like another game plan of bb, making paras overconfident & turn villian, the way they have made mahira delusional and thus she turned into complete bully
