Getting/doing work is not a binary yes/no question. Its not just that you 'get' work and you're a success or 'not get' work and you're a failure. Its about the levels.
1. Exposure
She's a huge star in Punjab (and the giant Punjabi disapora in the US/Canada), but that she already was before BB. That arena is conquered. Bigg Boss is such a big show across India and across the massive Indian/South-Asian diaspora throughout the world. I am a Nepali-American living in California, and personally I had never heard of Himanshi Khurrana. She can reach so many NEWER people like me through this show and establish herself as a star which will help her with her post-BB career (in say, live shows, singing reality shows, music videos, whatever she wants to do etc.)
2. Money
BB is one of the highest paying TV properties in India. So, again, the binary of getting/not getting work is not a relevant consideration. How much is she getting paid to do these events? She just posted a graphic poster on Instagram about her being the chief guest in a regional beauty pageant/fashion show event. Surely she isn't making as much as she would in a day on BB doing that event. So, the quality of work is also important, not just the quantity being offered.
And she's a young, talented, beautiful girl who is very successful for her age. Why wouldn't she want to elevate her career to the next level? I think she's totally in the right to push for a return!
