Asim never claimed or even used the word poor, or middle class. He said I’m a normal guy who uses normal things. Paras was the one at fault here and not Asim.

Asim might come from a rich family( though I don’t think so), and he can work out in the gym where HR works out( also please note HR works out in this Cult gym where he owns a part of it and isn’t super expensive). I use cult and it’s cheaper than a lot of fancy gyms. Also most models and people in entertainment industry can afford to shell out something like 5-10k per month for their fitness or even more. Their entire career depends on their fitness and bodies and more so in Asim’s case who doesn’t do ramp( not tall enough) but does more print modelling.

So all in all it’s the audience that’s made the assumption that Asim is poor, when he’s only said he’s a regular guy who uses regular things. Also he’s not talked about fancy cars- I’ve seen all of Asim’s unseens as well.

He’s told that since his dad is in the Govt they used to get Lal Batti car and he’s talked about the house in Jammu( honestly again not a big deal about having a big house in a city like Jammu, if he had something like that in delhi or mumbai it would have Been a different case).

And rightly said by koena , illiteracy is a choice..the fact that most of the ppl think ias officers and doctors are rich speaks volumes about the lack of awareness. IAS is also a government job with its perks like power , influence , approach but still a govt servant is nvr paid that much so as to call him rich .Both doctors and IAS come in upper middle class , that is not rich.. I'd recommend everyone (who are doubting asim's financial status) should open the world bank site and see the categorisation of different classes in india to enlighten themselves.India itself is counted in the lower middle class group despite of having richest families like anbani's and birla's .

His father being an IAs officer doesnt mean he cant be poor. Well he is not poor ..he stays at a PG facility. Didnt find work for months. And his parents supported him during those days. He was not zhoppadpatti poor . Just Axe-deo poor. If u get what I mean lol

He never for once said that he is poor it was paras who started with his senseless talks about price tags.. Even if he comes from a well to do family or as you say " Rich " What's wrong in taking a stand for middle class people

His father sent him at the mere age of 17 and he himself realized the need of being a self made person

In fact PCS officers salary is less than a professor don't know about IAS it's all about power they get.

Atleast he knew what to speak unlike Paras and to some extent Sidharth, who have no control over their language.
