Since few pages back discussions of Anupam trapping Nivi was happening, thought of posting this clip here. Anupam from the beginning itself had a soft-corner for Pre, probably because they both were from the same background. And looking at the way he reacted at NB's cheap acts with Pre, I don't think Anupam was that cheap a person he was shown to be in the initial episodes. There is surely a back story to NiviPam marriage. Also, it is in this episode Anupam refers Pre as Devi Maa ka santaan.

grace i feel they change the anupam character to positive .initial days he showed his greediness .

its sure he dint trap her for love it was mutual but he trap her to marry him so that he can live a lavish life w/o doing any work.
