I think he was talking about Arthi and Paras nomination because they are the ones that are left. No dear they didn't plan their rivalry. Rashami wanted to be cordial with Siddharth. They have serious issue. Siddharth gets affected by her more. Even during their conversation when he said "Sab kuch" it sounded very sincere. At one point when they had a fight she mentioned jealousy. So it somehow indicated that he gets jealous and we can clearly see his jealousy.

That was for aarti bcoz only aarti and Paras were remaining and he was telling that he is going to save her over him..

He didn't have any reason. He himself said that koi reason Batane ki zaroorat hai. I too felt the same that it was kiddish.
