I don't think it was a masterstroke in fact it was pretty expected

Shukla has a bug fat ego and his ego got hurt when caller of the week gave him a reality check by calling him Paras's chamcha.....Shukla was stunned and quite affected !

Shukla's game got affected as soon as he sided with Paras and co and he was looking quite self centred n selfish.....PLus he was listening to them instead of his own friends who any day are more trust worthy than Paras.

I guess makers gave him a hint through the caller of the week so that he can change his game as he wasn't looking good

Precisely why in order to prove that he isn't a chella he made sure to nominate Paras...It wasn't a master stroke but a very predicted move to satisfy his ego and remove the chela tag.

On top of that if Sid nominated Asim then he would have looked even worse....Plus Paras is clearly someone who can't be trusted.....So, the only option Shukla had was to nominate Paras

How would the same equations work again? Asim and Sid can never be that close again, Shefali Won’t be in Sids corner. Sid won’t leave Sana and she won’t leave Paras and Paras and Sid doubt can be together.

So even if they go back to teams like before

Sid, Asim, Arti, Sana, Shefali, Himanshi, Bhau, maybe Bagga

Paras Arhaan Rashmi Vishal Mahira and the rest

the equations are so all over the place. I wish there aren’t team tasks but more individualistic ones like college tasks

From the time, this extension has been asked for, he was silent. He was very knowingly not forgiving Vishal even if he asked for forgiveness twice. Its not like that he is a hard nut or he is a foodie. it was his well thought process.

Sid is sorted on romance angle wid all gals here and there. i think after few days madhurima sid will be either flirting or being the two epicentre of house.

Sid knows it was easier to tackle Paras as enemy because he wont put much of a fight like Asim, nor as Rashmi, and he will keep on portraying two groups. This is good for paras too, being witd Sid made him lose his individuality

Sid has always been vocal and he is mastermind, ye paras kya use game sikha raha hai, the only masla wid Sid is his anger. If Sana remains by his side, which I think he will make sure by forcing Sana choose one person over them. This is final test of loyality for Sana

In case she chooses Paras and then comes back to Sid, he will accept her again, because he really needs her for his mental balance,she is his anchor, his support system but he wont give her any place in his heart, but in case sana sticks to Sid after some roothna manana, he is never going to leave her. It is good for Sana also, her flipping inage is making everyone look bad. Its great, he is testing depth of Shehnaaz's loyality. Big boss wont let this TRP driving couple separate.

After this extension, I was feeling that season has become repetitive , and I don't want to get too much addicted to Sidnaaz. But now this is going to bring more colours to the show.
