Aamna made her debut in the Balaji Telefilms serial
Kahiin To Hoga. She has done a couple of Pakistani serials too. Though she has been seen in some South Indian films, Aamna will make her Bollywood debut in
Aloo Chaat opposite Aftab Shivdasani. Produced by Anuj Saxena's production company Maverick Productions, the film will be directed by
Samay director Robby Garewal.
Aamna?s debut film goes on floors
Aamna Shariff?s debut film Aloo Chaat with Aftab Shivdasan went on floors on Monday, 25th February.
The film will be shot in Mumbai & Delhi and will be directed by Robby Grewal of Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar ('MP3') and Samay fame.
Mirchi Movies Limited and Actor Anuj Saxena's production house Maverick Productions Pvt. Ltd. are co-producing the flick in association with Berlian films.
Munish Purii, COO of Mirchi Movies Limited, reveals, ?Aloo Chaat is based on a family-comedy script and will release after Mirchi Movies next release Hari Puttar ? A Comedy Of Terrors? which is coming in the Summer of 2008.?

Aamna to share screen with Aftab
Aamna Shariff is set to romance Aftabh Shivadasani.
She is all excited about her movie debut we hear. We hear people are constantly asking her why she couldn't debut with her good friend Rajeev Khandelwal.
Poor Aamna! Guess she would love it if people just asked her how she was prepapring for the film rather than get into her personal life. What say Aamna?

Mumbai schedule and the film is sixty percent complete. The second and final schedule is in Delhi from 24th march. The film had gone on the floors last month and stars debonaire Aftab Shivdasani and beautiful Aamna Shariff. Robby Grewal, who had directed Mera Pehla Pehla Pyar ('MP3') and Samay is directing Aloo Chaat.
RDB and Samirrudin are working on the film's music. They are also composing some of the songs for Akshay Kumar's Singh is King. RDB gained immense popularity with the famous track 'Aaja Mahi.' A special song composed by them with Punjabi flavour has been shot recently.
Says Munish Purii, COO of Mirchi Movies Limited, "Aloo Chaat's Mumbai schedule has gone well and we are looking forward to the Delhi schedule. So far the film has been shot remarkably".
Says Anuj Saxena, CEO of Maverick Production, "The film is shaping up quite well. The on-screen chemistry between Aftab and Aamana is good. They suit the roles perfectly. The second schedule is in Delhi and is the final schedule"

Seems, actor Aftab Shivdasani has walked out of the shadown of his ex-flame Yana Gupta. And now he is on a dating spree yet again.
The actor was spotted arriving at a restaurant with Aamna Shariff. This could be a bad news for TV buffs who love to see Aamna with Rajeev Khandelwal.
Anyway, Aftab was fawning all over Aamna but listen, guys, breathe easy. Aamna was accompanied by her mom. Though we are not sure about who paid the bill.
Title song of Mirchi Movies' ALOO CHAAT shot!
ALOO CHAAT produced by Mirchi Movies Limited and Actor Anuj Saxena's production house Maverick Productions Pvt. Ltd. in association with Red Ice films is complete and is scheduled to release in December 2008.
The film stars debonair Aftab Shivdasani and beautiful Aamna Shariff. Robby Grewal, who had directed MERA PEHLA PEHLA PYAR (MP3) and Samay has directed ALOO CHAAT.
Recently a title song of ALOO CHAAT was shot.
It is a unique title song which will also be used as title montage in the film. It will be sung by a well known singer. All the important characters of the film – Manoj Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra, Meenakshi Sethi are also a part of the title song besides Aftab and Aamna.
The title song of ALOO CHAAT is composed by Vipin Mishra who had composed title track of MERA PEHLA PEHLA PYAR (MP3).
Aftab Aamna look perfect as co–stars and their on–screen expressions have added the right flavour to the song.
Robby Grewal the director of Aloo Chaat says, 'The Video employs a technique in which various actions or expressions of characters are frozen in time and captured as high resolution still images. Selected still images are then stitched together into sequences which give the impression of motion. These will then be blended with computer generated environments and matte paintings to complete the comic book effect. Though it is not a new technique, it hasn't been used in Hindi cinema and has a distinct look and feel from a traditional or conventional animation'
