Mtlb kuch bhi  😡 babita was a grtt mother . Remember the self confidence and courage with which mini puts her opinions in front of everyone is all bcz babita gave her that freedom from childhood. It's all bcz of babita parenting.

Babita was a good mother to both Mini and Arya. (I don’t buy the BS that was thrown our way about Babita’s character after marriage).

I opened IF after 3-4 days and your post is first thing I read. 😆 The reason why this place sounds so biased and turns me off.

How come Imarti is being given credit here? For what?

Did she keep these 2 girls in her womb for nine months? Do women here think pregnancy is a joke? You can’t sleep for 9 months. Morning sickness and all kinds of problem. It’s not a funny thing.

It was Babita who woke up at night to feed her girls. It was Babita who went through physical and emotional roller coaster ride through pregnancy and afterwords to raise her Daughters.

What did Imarti and HS do for those 17 years? It was only Babita. Not even Ashok with her while raising Mini.

HS gets no freakin credit here for the way Mini turned out. Yes he impacted her life after he entered their lives and Mini has Imarti’s essence but major part of credit goes to Babita for giving birth to both her daughters and raising a fearless Mini. Arya has both her parents essence. And sure HS and Babita both raised a headstrong Arya.

Imarti has done nothing here. For Mini to have her essence is fate. Nothing more or less. Stop undermining a Morher’s role for a freakin fantasy.

I don’t think he shot with Arya. I think couple photo shoots of them were taken when he visited sets for those video recordings. If he did indeed shoot with Arya, they would have already shown it in bazillion flashbacks lol

I was just wondering because how come he's in uniform if it's just recordings? Oh well, it's a cute photo, nevertheless.

Exactly. How does Imarti get any credit for Mini turning out like this? Not even HS should get credit for that. Sure, HS impacted Mini’s life in great ways and was a father that Ashok could never become... but Mini turning the way she did was all because of Babita. Babita gave Mini the avenue and the freedom to voice her opinions the way she does. Many parents don’t let their kids speak their mind. Mini turning out like that is all Babita’s doing, no one else.

Like you said, Arya has both Babita and HS’s essence because she’s their daughter. Babita has an equal role in raising a headstrong Arya as does HS (as was clear from friday’s episode). Imarti again has nothing to do here. At least give Babita the credit where it’s due lol. Poor Babita... people just undermine her role even in raising her own daughters 😆.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone with my earlier post where I had this sentence:

"But damn Arya looks like she could be Imarti's and HS' daughter."

I was being lazy and didn't qualify my sentence when typing on my phone. It's in reference to what I was saying a while ago to Gur about the kid chosen to play Arya looking a bit like Roshni.

In no way do I mean she's Imarti's child. If at all she has the bravado that Imarti has (I don't know because I'm not watching the show) then it's been passed on to her via HS and not directly from Imarti.

Also, when HS said Minnie didn't take after either of her biological parents but after Imarti, it was a figure of speech anyway. He's attached to Minnie because of how thinks and behaves, which reminds him a lot of Imarti. When HS said early in the show that he wanted to see an Imarti in every woman (or something along those lines) he meant he wanted that fighting spirit. Minnie had it, and it makes sense that they'd both want Arya to be that way.

As for Babita's hand in Minnie turning out the way she is, well there was an episode where Babita tells HS that she's looking for a job and where she berates herself for being stupid and not smart like Minnie, following which HS points out that Minnie turned out this way because Babita instilled that confidence in her. They were mirror images. This is the essence of their relationship. Nobody is a perfect parent, but with a person like Babita it is quite clear that despite her flaws and mistakes, there's no doubt she loves Minnie a lot and will want what's best for her. Her thought process and route for getting there is different to Minnie's, hence some of the clashes, but her intention is never in question.

If Imarti's essence lives in HS, then by proxy doesn't she have a hand in raising Arya, or impacting Minnie? If it weren't for her changing HS' mindset, HS would have never adopted certain principles and values, and most likely wouldn't have gone as far out to helping Babita and Minnie as he did.

I agree with you in the fighting spirit. Babita has it too, but the form it takes differs from Minnie's. Minnie's manifestation must clearly resemble a lot like Imarti's, hence why HS feels so attached to her.

I'm not denying Babita's role in Minnie's upbringing and never will. That woman single handedly raised her daughter and made her into who she is. Yes, Minnie is bound to be influenced by other external factors, but that is the case for every human being. She's not special in this sense. Babita acknowledges the flaws within her and constantly strives to do better for her daughters, and that's what mothers do.

Babita post marriage is a wacko and I don't even consider her to be canon. But the Babita pre marriage did everything in her power to make sure her daughter didn't get squashed by the world's repressive ways. Undoubtedly, she did the same for Arya.

Babita was a fighter herself and raised her daughters to be the same. Ever in doubt? Watch the episode post the court scene. THAT is Babita's strength. It's not out and loud like Minnie or Imarti's. It's quiet, and yet solid like a mountain.

Lol maine kaha tha that Mini will sacrifice her career to fulfill Babita's dreams or whatever ... Sacrificial Mini
