Honestly.. I don't know why I have this belief that if I quit my job n work on my mental health I will recover. But everyone is against it... Achi khaasi job chodna is a big mistake. Career suicide blah blah.... people call me and they will say they saw my name mentioned somewhere. But Kya karu aise recognition ka if I m not happy.

Same here. I never desired traveling except like couple of years where I did want to travel suddenly. But that phase lasted for only 1-2 years. Now I am back to the same as I used to be. But when I think about it, it’s not as I don’t like travelling because I would love to travel with my loved ones. I would love anywhere to be as long as those I care about are with me. So I think with me it’s just that I want to travel with those I am comfortable with and love. I don’t want to travel alone.

What I love the most about NYC are the people. They are so nice, open minded and helpful. I can’t believe there’s a stereotype about people in NY as being rude. Other things I love about NY are the access and opportunity.

But the problem is one doesn’t get time to enjoy this all in NYC because everyone’s either busy and/or just stressed. Most don't have time for others. Also, the taxes are extremely high and the prices keep going high. Rents keep going high. It’s just waste of money especially when one is just always busy and stressed. And the idiot and greedy democrats want to raise more taxes. That will just further cause people to leave NY. People are already leaving NY. But few like it too and do enjoy life. So I don’t know. If my family and friends moved to another state, I will leave ASAP too.

Yes seriously New York City has all these problems. Negatives do outweigh if one wants to live there. Like you many residents feel the same way and will leave soon. It will be a ghost city in future if local government keep behaving this way😆 khud ko tax karenge...

Ditto! Travelling with friends and family is the best kinda travel I would indulge in ... otherwise it's boring!

I traveled to Turkey once, and it was really fun. It was a different experience. But I will still choose traveling with friends and family over that.

Yeah I guess every place has its pros and cons. Also I think if one is happy truly inside, they will be happy mostly anywhere. So I think that matters too. I don’t know what’s wrong with the government. This much high taxes isn’t enough that they want to raise more and more. NYers pay up to 50%-60% when one adds all the taxes. But of course, that’s not enough. I used to be naive in 2016 because I didn’t have experience in work and taxes, so I supported Sanders. But now I know better.

What's a very high paying job in terms of #s in India atm?! .... IT was huge back when I was in India esp when you worked at likes of Google and all!
