Regarding your first choice EK in her interview has told that she waited for Erica to finish her previous show just to get her as prerna. So a sharp minded person won't do it only for her fan base. EK has the ability to create stars on her own and not depend on particular actors fan base.

Followers and awards have no relation to acting. Just saying. That’s how the industry is. So using followers and awards to validate acting is flawed since even bad actors are felicitated at times.

Erica is really good but she is not good enough to elevate the pathetic script being churned out. The dialogues of Prerna are cringeworthy

what ever the the writting its from frist epi but ppl love parixa as anupre no body can doubt it because if not this show had shutdown much before that 👍🏼

That's quite an observation 👏, but percentage is a bit off.. 65-70% would have been a close guess I think :)

I was just trying to bring out the fact that even the actors associated since beginning of the show don't care any more, which shows in their performance on screen these days too. That's why mentioned about today's face off, where I saw them both perform in the same frame. In such a case Aamna should continue with her work because she is amongst the better lot anyway.

I mentioned FL because I wanted to say that Amna (new entry) is a better performer than her. But you concluded that I am trying to say Erica is a bad actress, which is not true. She is not bad but okayish according to me.

That zooming issues we all have a problem with... But as far as Aamna is concerned she is doing well👏

As much as I am exasperated with this BS show, I don’t wish for any of the actors, directors or writers to leave the show. Why?
Simple, because it’s their job and it pays them well.

They are human beings and have families to take care of and bills to pay. Survival in the glamour industry is difficult and not everyone is lucky to have stardom and fame as well as money. Amna did have her fair share of trials but couldn’t do much significant roles in BW. Why not let her act and earn? I appreciate that. Similarly for everyone. Just because I am unhappy or her role is shitty, why should she not earn?

Creative satisfaction and livelihood are intertwined in case of actors and it’s highly unfair for us to even think of them just quitting coz of dissatisfaction.

She is doing very well as Komolika.

Let me be honest, the problem with this show is not it’s reboot but it’s tasteless portrayal of anything. I don’t feel anything for Prerna and Anurag at all, similarly the classy vamp couldn’t make me feel anything.
The problem is lack of build up. Bring in any actor and still they can’t save this show. Bhangaar hai yeh.

Lacklustre lead chemistry and parallel leads being written in a fast forward manner.

That’s the problem. Actors leaving the show will not change anything. The story needs to be dealt with proper build up.

It’s redundant, cringe-worthy and absolutely unrealistic. Not that I expect anything from EKta Show.

Talk to a 20 something millennial generation today and nobody cares about Sindoor, Suhagan and pati.
