Generally it is believed that you should not give scissors in hand, it creates fight.

So Rashmi remembered that and told, don't give in hand. Keep it down. (superstitions)

So sid went out, and was laughing, "that we already fight so much, if you will give scissors in hand, then how much more fight can increase." so don't be afraid to take by hands
