What if Madhuri done English Vinglish

Would the movie receive same amount of appreciations than Sridevi??? I respect Madhuri a lot for her talent, but how would of performed in the film??

She don't have to be a Sridevi to do this.

She would've nailed it in her own way, having her own aura around it.

Bucket list is a proof enough.

I haven't seen bucket list but it looks similar to English Vinglish.

That's what I wanted to establish & convey.

It would have probably turned out like Bucket List (watched it on Netflix), and it was totally blah!

You need to bring in that element of vulnerability and simplicity to play Shashi, which Sridevi brought it in hoardes. Madhuri is more suited to playing stronger women.

Well she did attempt an English Vinglish in Bucket List. And failed miserably.

But bucket list flopped badly despite Madhuri being a huge name in Maharashtra.

I don't know about Bucket List, I heard its a decent family film but my question was if she had done an English vinglish how would the film turn out?

I respect Madhuri her acting is outdated, saw total dhamal and its like I was watching a 90s scene, Sridevi on the other hand is versatile, she naturally adapted to the time and managed to connect with todays generation.

That was her only Marathi film lol, she's not a big name in there, she made in Bollywood movies.
