He took the glasses off in his room to look at the picture - doesn't really matter whose picture, the point is he was alone in his room and he took the shades off.

Another time he took the shades off was in front of Neha. Who is not his family and he doesn't need to hide his pain from her... As per the spoiler, Neha is supposed to be his best friend. So I think he must have confided in Neha about him and Mishti. That's the reason he took glasses off in front of her..

And Today's Abir weds Neha was just to cause confusion in viewers mind... K fell out from Kabir at RV house in today's episode and it looked like Abir weds Neha.

Anyways what I am trying to say is Abir just wears shades to hide his pain from the family. I wish the family knows soon, so the shades come off as I really do not like them...

Actually by not showing the airport track the makers are keeping all possibilities intact.The way the story will progress further and what kind of reaction it will get from viewers will actually determine what angle they would focus on.I think if makers would feel that in the longer run the core essence of mishbir is getting swayed and fans start bashing them up then they will very conveniently show that this was actually a facade and the break up was fake and then fans should be going gaga

I may be overanalysing but I have this feel that this is a fake break up.The makers are suggesting this with so many hints.They are pretty sure that fans are not going to accept Abir without his core essence and hence this confusion they are trying to create but there is no way This story can go forward without basic values of the lead. All of us have fallen for this character because of the simplicity,unshakable trust amongst the leads and strong value system which they follow.Fans are just not going to accept another version so this suspense has been created
