I feel pretty sure HS decided enough was enough and they needed to sort things out once and for all. The fact that she'd come to India, to Manali and hadn't told them showed him exactly how much the gap had widened. Not that he hadn't seen it before but this time he wanted to close it definitely. It looks like they left for Manali pretty soon after she spoke to him on the phone.

Damn his 'ghar aaja chhori' is gonna haunt her for life.

Again i'm confused on manali part. Were they really going to manali? or they told arya that they have gone to manali to get mini. Arya does not know about their death na acc to elders. They were asking mini to break the news to her.

This awkwardness is something that I can't digest. Yes, she left on bad terms, but they are after all her family. Her apne. And I doubt HS would have been ignoring her. He would have been the most eager of them all to keep her looped in to everything that she missed while she was gone. Arya not being forthcoming makes sense since she's just a kid and generally they're shy when they meet new people. But Babes? Did she really not want to speak to Minnie again? Did she still give her the silent treatment? Matlab ghussa aur ego ko itni priority di?? I can never accept this.

This part I didn't understand. Why couldn't NB/Dadu-Beeji tell Arya? They are obviously more closer to Arya than Mini. And they expect Mini to tell Arya? Yooo Mini is as devastated, probably more than anyone, and they expect Mini to be strong?

Like Mini said, she had a huge pressure from everyone of being brave, of being a "Veer-Balika".

It goes to show how no one truly understood her apart from Mickey. Even HS had at one point mistakenly believed that she has everything under control. For the most part, it's just an act from Minnie. She's the embodiment of the "fake it till you make it". She'll never let anyone in on her true feelings because she always keeps it hidden from them. She doesn't want to let anyone in because they'll just end up hurting her in the long run and literally everyone in her life has hurt her at some point or another. Of course that doesn't mean that she should give up on life altogether. But she needs to see that there's hope and meaning to it despite all the heartbreak it offers.

i would have actually liked to see HS mini dynamics here if they had retained him. with babita gone both in pain. hs in pain also because they never got to be family with babita mini arya HS and now when mini has come babita is gone maybe a sense of disappointment with mini for not being there. mini seeing Arya HS , maybe feeling left out, unsure of her position in his life.. they had quite a lot of material with this.

There's a lot they could have done regardless of the path they chose to take. What's most important is how they execute it. If they do a fine job, then great! Otherwise, they'll leave behind even more angry and disappointed fans.

Loll, if the writers can forget the 180 episode journey they made Babita go on and undo all of that, toh phir yeh saare senior citizens kya cheez hai? 🤪

And yeah, he would never have approved of everyone burdening her with being Veer Balika. He gave her that name but he knew to how to apply it in right measures. The others are again looking at is as a label and treating her accordingly.

As for the senior citizens.... never mind. NB failed HS and don't even get me started on Dadu Beeji. Arya should have been treated the way NB would treat Immu but I guess she doesn't. I wonder if Babita and she ever patched up. Doesn't look like it.

They don't understand what Veer Balika means like HS & Minnie do. They knew under what context she was christened that name and the heavy weight it carries. For everyone else, it's just another word like "brave" or "courageous". There's no substance to it.

Dadu Beeji are a lost cause but Naeem Bi was a huge disappointment. I honestly hadn't expected that from her. I don't know. Naeem Bi did go back to the Haveli but I guess it was only because Minnie was there. As for the love for Arya, she might do so because she's an extension of HS, but I doubt she harbors any sort of love for Babita.

Idk, all the characters felt extremely disjointed. I mean, we got nothing from Lala or Poonam even though they were Hanita's best friends. Pinku got one to two lines while there was nothing from Saroj. Kammo and Khatri were there but not Rano. Like, there was no cohesiveness to it. They were all either after thoughts or non existent. They were reduced to the kind of characters we see in other shows. Side pieces, extras that no one really cares about. Appalling really, considering how each and every single one of those characters has been given a carefully detailed backstory from the previous season. For a new viewer, they would have no idea who these people are or how important they were to Hanita or even Minnie, the new protagonist.

Like what? At what phase of life parents stop being part of children's life?

I guess PB ki duniya mein yeh sab chalta hai. I get that everyone has issues with their parents, and depending on the context the distance could be warranted. However, in the context of what happened between Minnie & Hanita, it feels a bit overboard.

Where does a "stepfather's" loyalties lie after his wife has passed away? Does he still love and care for his step daughter as he did in the past or would he focus more on his biological one? (I am not talking about extra care that Arya needs because she's little.) Would HS have tried to overcompensate with Minnie, hence neglecting Arya to some extent? I have seen this happen with step parents where they are so excessively worried about being unfair to their step child that they shower them with even more love and attention. Sometimes they are also worried about scrutiny by relatives as to their worth as parents...

They could have done SO much... Ugh.. never mind.

Like I said before, they could have taken ANY track forward and yet they're giving us this. I'm also amazed as to how they could have done the most with HS' character and yet they couldn't be asked to give two hoots about him. Like seriously??
