It was another example of how EVERYONE expects her to be incredibly strong. HS would have never approved of this. 😤😤

Yes, he was her strongest pillar and the one who kind of held their little family together. With him gone, her idol, role model, hero, father, pillar, and all round protector is gone. He wasn't perfect, but he was the closest to a "parent" she had in her life.

And yeah, he would never have approved of everyone burdening her with being Veer Balika. He gave her that name but he knew to how to apply it in right measures. The others are again looking at is as a label and treating her accordingly.

As for the senior citizens.... never mind. NB failed HS and don't even get me started on Dadu Beeji. Arya should have been treated the way NB would treat Immu but I guess she doesn't. I wonder if Babita and she ever patched up. Doesn't look like it.

They could have built an entire awesome season around this. How would HS have dealt with becoming a widower again, but this time being responsible for two children? How would he have tried to fill the void of a mother in their lives? Would have liked to see scenes like him trying to cook for them and only ending up with jali hui daal roti, and remembering Babita's cooking... I remember that mosquito scene where he had said he would look after Minnie if anything happened to Babita...

Where does a "stepfather's" loyalties lie after his wife has passed away? Does he still love and care for his step daughter as he did in the past or would he focus more on his biological one? (I am not talking about extra care that Arya needs because she's little.) Would HS have tried to overcompensate with Minnie, hence neglecting Arya to some extent? I have seen this happen with step parents where they are so excessively worried about being unfair to their step child that they shower them with even more love and attention. Sometimes they are also worried about scrutiny by relatives as to their worth as parents...

They could have done SO much... Ugh.. never mind.

well im not too sure of that. Well he did before marriage but after that he has also switched between burdening her with veer balika and giving preference to babita s need over her need. otherwise i see no reason HS standing on the balcony while mini goes and not trying to go to drop her off. mini so much wanted in her heart that he do that for her.

HS-Babita's characters had a lot of scope and meat even after the leap. But writers wanted the focus to just be in Mini's life, and PS and AD would obviously not be play side characters in the show where they have been a lead, so you see they killed them. If only writers could keep aside their baisedness for one character, and actually focused on the story and each characters arc properly, this show would have been something else.

this.... not atleast till they are married off and settled, according to itv standards. no show has ever killed off both parents telling they dont have an arc in their children's story immediately after leap
