Sadly, when one talks of "love" or "romance" one thinks of only the physical aspect. Basic premise of this serial is there can be commonalities of interest at that age which can bring companionship. Never in the episodes so far has any "physical attraction" been implied or promoted . It has been scrupulously avoided (and still managed to make the serial interesting). That, actually, is the biggest plus point of this serial.

We have had torrid romances, ugly kat-karastans, physical/implied violence and marital infidelity as centre pieces of present day serials. This serial comes as a whiff of fresh air. It is like after having Chana Masala, Veg Kolhapuri, Pizza and Pasta for many years, you long for the home cooked Waran Bhaath.😊

AR and Asa's value system is the same hence they are good friends and what could be termed as 'compatible'.

In fact, I enjoy the nok-jhok wala romance of AsaJeet. That - paak kalevarche prem, ajun mirchi havi Hoti mhanaje Gul milala asata......We expect such romance in AS.

Even yesterday, AR realising the pain Asa must have gone through while arranging the money and brings back the smile on Asa's face, was very touching..! Unfortunately for Asa, her blood relatives like Aajoba, Somya, she has been living with are so insensitive towards her and on the other hand, Shubhra, AR, Kh couple understand and support her ...

In reality, the looks, the wealth and all other materialistic things are less important when it comes to true love.

Yes mishkil, the points you mentioned above, about AR , used to irritate me a lot, also I couldn't understand or remember, at what particular point Ar fell for asa.

But with lot of 'majboori ' and difficulty I managed to keep aside those thoughts. And continued watching the serial

First things first, this babdya is now being cast in the mould of a typical ultimate spoilt brat with his tantrums about the costly watch given to him by AR and the brash insults heaped by him on Asa.

And then this tilt towards typical filmy melodrama of the mother selling off her mangalsutra for the sake of her ladka babdya.

Some amount of balance was restored by a couple of really good heart to heart convos.... first between Asa and Shubhra about spoilt brats and then one between AR and Asa when she returns the watch. Simple dialogues but very effective. These two relationships are being kept natural and low key whereas all other characters are being hyped as caricatures.

I don't understand the purpose of this 'costly watch' track. Till last weekend every thing was going in line with the central theme, why suddenly this stupid track?

@Kamalsh- What I also find odd is the relation between Shubhra and Somya. There is so much understanding and trust shown by Shubhra and Somya is just the opposite. How is it that they fell for each other? I mean talk about opposites...they are poles apart.
