The Singh's lineage was filled with tragedy and HS had honestly worked so hard to turn it around. The thought that the curse never got lifted while he was alive breaks my heart. 😭

Truly is a tragedy. In the previous generation a child was hurt due to his father's actions and in this generation again a child was hurt due to the parents' actions. The no more tears policy backfired and a woman did end up crying, that too the ghar ki beti, Minnie. But along with that the cries of his heart never stopped till his last breath. Just imagine.

Agree completely. I don't think he needs to put on airs but at least he should be able to comma the respect that he deserves so that no one tries to abuse his generosity. They literally walked all over his efforts in PB!

My analysis? Look who's talking!

On a serious note, I have been meaning to send him a link to one of my posts just to get feedback from him on how close I was to his interpretation of a scene or concept. What do you think? I'll need to choose one but it's going to be tough as he has been brilliant throughout this season.

It all comes down to his contract really. I hope he had laid down some hard rules, especially when it comes to the termination of his character.

Loll, whatever I wrote doesn't hold a candle to you. 😅

That will be a great idea! Was there a particular episode you had in mind?

I knew you admire him but that doesn't mean you become too humble either, lol.

Which episode? Gosh it's hard to pick! Which do you think was my best analysis to date?

Yeah, indeed. I hope he gets more variety in his roles so that he can perform to his heart's content. He clearly does a lot of prep for each scene but can also improvise really well.

You know, I'm really looking forward to seeing him play a real gray character. I can only imagine how awesome he's going to be.

Now I'm really curious to know what his next project is about. It's obviously a man in uniform but I wonder if it focuses more on his job and the cases rather than his family life.

I'm trying to think of some gray characters in ITV now but for some reason I'm coming up blank. Either they're very rare or the story ends up failing them in some way.

No problem. Maybe you can ask him and he'll DM you the response!

Haha, I doubt he'll do that. Your question requires a lengthy response while he has primarily spoken to me in ten words or less.

But I'll still try on the 21st!

I guess it's only fitting that the daughters will put an end to this vicious curse. With no parents around to inflict more pain on them, they can finally heal each other and create a new legacy to uphold.

Loll, it's not even about humility for me. You've been able to capture the essence of these characters and pick up on all the minute details far more than I have. It's just facts. 😄

Oh wow, picking one is hard! When you first brought this up, my mind immediately jumped to the ones you wrote during Imarti's track.

When did you stop writing the analysis? During the shaadi track?

As horrid as it turned out eventually, in recent times I'd pick Arjun Bijlani's character in IMMJ for the first year or so. Man there were so many shades he portrayed that he kept you guessing. ITV doesn't do gray characters well, or if they do, then they can't keep it up for too long and either whitewash them or turn them all black.

I wouldn't mind if he did something episodic either, i.e. solve a case an episode or something.

I think so too. I also feel that through Arya, Minnie might end up re-living the parts of her childhood she missed out on. Gosh it's so sad she has to grow up as Orphan Arya.

This is why I didn't want Hanita to have a kid.

Maybe Imarti's track, yeah.

I can't remember when I stopped. I think it was during the shaadi track. My heart was no longer in it and Babita had just gotten tiresome by then.

Again, thinking back to those times I feel so stupid for having spent hours and hours on those posts.
