Wow. If I remember correctly from my fieldwork days,Kota is literally one of the most unsafe places for women in India. Their rape and assault rate are very high. Possibly in top ten in India. So ironical that they are blaming a movie for degrading the name of their city but haven't done shit to protect the women there. Typical.

Their reason for protesting is quite clear. Kota earns so up from being an educational hub. So a mainstream movie showing India the actual truth of the place would harm business. And people still say,cinema is just cinema in India lol.

when truth is show they shout that its showing their city and people in a bad light and the when the actual thing happens than they cry why law n justice did not help them and tries to gain public sympathy and create unecessary drama...what was show in Mardani 2 waa actual truth if india and it happens in every cities and villages and these people claims it as fictional and fake...hypocrities they are
