Who is the most overrated actress in today's times ?

Lot of media attention , stories , not much acting skills ...

Sonam Kapoor. She gets too much limelight than what she deserves given that she is not all that talented imo.

Alia. Lets admit to the fact that the aid she has received with KJo's help is incomparable to any actress in the history of bollywood. Also most of her PR publicity that come from her part are fake. like did she ever date any of those costars she's linked to. doubt it.

Dont find deepika, katrina, or anushka overrated. in talent maybe, but otherwise no.

I don't think Deepika is overrated, I've only seen brief praise for her durin g 2012-13 between Cocktail and Chennai Express, and in 2015 for Piku. Otherwise, apart from fans hyping her, I don't think she is highly rated for her acting chops.

It is Alia who I see constantly being praised to the skies - by members, critics and industry people alike.

I just don't see what all the hoopla is about. She is as sub-standard as it gets.

Yes, under the best kind of setups -- marquee projects, best directors, author-backed roles, cherry-picked scripts approved by her mentor with roles carefully sculpted to overshadow the other roles -- Umm, anyone with a modicum of talent/training would do decently well under such circumstances.

So no, Alia is no great shakes. She, in my humble opinion, is the most overrated actor of our times (yes, actor, not just actress).

I wont say alia is a bad actor or decent actor. that is a little extreme. She is a good actor, has delivered a 100 cr. hit on her own name. but totally agree that people praise her acting talent as if she is some oscar worthy performer who can do any type of role. She isn't or hasnt shown that yet. She's above average per BW standards, thats about it. While Deepika has actually done every role type of and that too has done memorable roles despite her being an OK actor. She is worst than alia in acting, but she has aced the versatility compartment loads over alia. so thats why I feel, she is not overrated.

Imo it's KANGANA,

She always has this emotionless expression on her face and her eyes are not at all expressive. Her sister is such a wannabee attention seeker who literally takes a dig on every one. Plus instead of going after everyone in the industry KANGANA should focus more on her career.

Another one is sonam. She doesn't even know the A of acting

Also I don't think deepika's name should be on that list.

Dp especially after that iffa award. What a joke.

Anushka Sharma....very average in acting, looks, you name it....doesn't deserve to be an A-lister
