Her lips don’t even look dark to me. They look natural for someone with her complexion. Smoker lips are kind of charcoal dark. Not what I see with Deepika here.

Since when is Deepika considered dark? Or are we discounting her fairness lightening procedure?

Deepika has always had dark lips. Where's that picture that her haters loved to post all the time? The one where she's coming out of a temple? There were several ppl that used to insult her for her dark lips whenever that pic was posted. I remember coz I have dark lips so I used to be lowkey offended 😂

She looks more on the dusky side in this picture. So if/when she appears lighter it’s probably make up. Also I think her skin tone was uneven before and now seems more even and without blotches so that could be why she seems lighter. I’m speculating here. Don’t know if she has done anything or not, and if she has it’s disappointing. But she’s not a naturally light skinned person and her lips wouldn’t be pink like a white person’s.

I don't think it matters. I am pretty fair (like an NC25 in Mac Cosmetics range) and my lips aren't totally pink. Same way I have a friend who is dusky but her lips are lighter than mine! Theres actually a surgery now that can make ur lips permanently pink!
