Yes, no reason was given why she cannot go with him. But HS mini making face like bahut bada crime kiya babes ne. HS ne hi bola na haq jatane. Yes people do that but only when they know that their children will not have to depend on it when bad times come around. hey have money on their own, their family unit is normal and traditional. Here no one knows what is HS's responsibility financially toward Minnie since she is not his legally adopted daughter. Babita gave up on her family jewelry and alimony. Now she is selling off her business because she doesn't care. Does she think of Minnie's educational costs or wedding related costs and where will that money come from? If she doesn't then she is just being an irresponsible mother who is only thinking of her own feelings and not the practicality of real life situations.
She has been shown to reminisce fondly about Ashok.. to HS of all people - lately. The words like he used to love her and he never touched her without her permission. Also he used to send presents for Minnie every birthday and Minnie used to wait eagerly for it.
These were not words of a woman who doesn't have anything but gall and vengeance in her heart. If after all Ashok did to her she can still think of his positives why is it so hard for her to allow Minnie to have a closure with her biological dad? Not allowing her to read the letter is not a mature act.. it is juvenile. And if her insecurities are so overwhelming that they are clouding all her judgements then that is on her.. not the the people around her to walk on eggshells to accommodate her irrational fears.
within a span of 24 days she took the decision to write off Minnie's maternal grandparents home by asking her who is she to tell her what to do. Then she decides to sell off her business without even considering Minnie's opinion.. she is 50% owner of that sho, if I am not mistaken. And then she burns the letter from Aashok and on top of that taunts her. I don't think she is even considering anything about Minnie as a person.. let alone her emotions and sentiments.

She's not getting any money from the shop, it's running in losses. And on the top of that she decided to sell it at 2 lakh while she purchased it at 10 lakh that too with bank loan.
That's why I'm pissed at her. She's totally ignoring financial situation.
