Flashback...

Arvind Kothari and his wife Mridula led a happy life with their daughter Sabrina.
But destiny played a cruel game with them.Mridula died due to cancer and inorder to look after Sabrina, Arvind married Anushka.Though Anushka loved Sabrina,Sabrinahated Anushka as she couldn't digest Anushka being in Mridula's place.
Once Sabrina threw the lunch box Anushka arranged for her to go to school.
Sabrina:I don't need the food you cooked.Dadi will cook food for me.

Anushka was very upset about Sabrina's behaviour.
She cupped her face in her hands sadly:Sabrina beta...why do you hate me somuch?I really love you.

Sabrina pushed her rudely.
Sabrina:Don't try to be my mother.You are not my mother.You are a witch whotook ovy mother's position.
Anushka was shattered.

Anushka gave birth to a baby boy; Aditya.Both Arvind and Anushka became busywith Aditya.When Aditya became Devayani's pet also,Sabrinabecame jealous of Aditya.The jealousyturned into hatred. Aditya always went after Sabrina calling her:Di...
But Sabrina always ignored him.

Aditya became upset.
Sabrina was watching cartoon alone.Hearing the sunds Aditya got tempted and without her permissionhe got inside the room.Sabrina got so angry and

pushed thelittle Aditya down.He got hurt.
Arvind.Anushka and Devayani became upset seeing Aditya crying out of pain when stitches wereput on his forehead.Sabrina got scared whether she will be exposed by Aditya.But Aditya who loved his sister never did that.
Sabrina went to Aditya.
Aditya:Di...
Sabrina:You thought just because you saved me from a punishment I will loveyou?Never.I will never love you.
Aditya cried.His tears didn't move herat all.

Shashi Gupta,Garima and their daughter Aliya were their neighbours and familyfriends.Aliya had noticed Aditya;the shylonely silent boy.Later they became classmates in high school.
Aditya was always isolated by theteachers and the classmtes as he was weak at studies.
That really made him upset.
Once the teacher asked him to solve a problem in Maths on the board.He didblunders and he got scolded by the teacher.All the classmates laughed athim.But Aliya looked at him with pity.

Aditya went upto Sabrina for help.
Aditya:Di....can you please teach meMaths?I can't understand anything.
Sabrina taunted him instead of helping him:You fool...you have no brain.That'swhy you can't excel in maths.So no use of teaching you.

Aditya:But di....please teach me thebasics.I just want pass mark.
Sabrina:You duffer...can't you understand what I am saying?Just get out.
She pushed him out and slammed the door.

Anushka saw Aditya crying alone.
She sat near him: Aditya....
He hugged her and cried:Maa...why does di hate me so much.I love her verymuch.But why can'tshe see that?
She felt upset for him.
Anu:Di loves you Aditya.But she can'texpress it.Don't worry.One day she will shower all her love on you.

Aditya was teased by all the students.
Aliya felt sad.

She went to Aditya's room in the KothariMansion. Aditya couldn't believe it as they were not friends.
Aditya:Why are you here?
ALIYA:Why?I can't come here?
Aditya:Not that.I mean we are notfriends.
ALIYA:How can we be friends if you close your mouth forever?It's because ofyour shy silent nature that you are not able to have friends.You need to minglewith others.
Aditya:But no one likes me talking tothem.Everyone hates me because I am a poor student.
ALIYA:You are having inferiority complex.That's why you feel so.Anyways examsare coming up.Did you start studying?
Aditya:No.
ALIYA:Why?
Aditya:I can't handle studies.Nothing isentering my head.Because I am brainless.
ALIYA:What rubbish!Who said you are brainless?

Aditya didn't say Sabrina's name.
ALIYA:No one is brainless.Devi maiyya has given brain to everyone.You areintelligent.But you need to work more.You need proper guidance.I will teachyou.
Aditya was surprised:Really?
ALIYA:Yes.But you have to be my friend.
He couldn't believe it:Are you sure that you want me to be your friend?
ALIYA:Ya...why not?
Aditya:First time someone approached mefor friendship.
She smiled extending her hand:Friends?
With a smile he held her hand.

Aliya started teaching Aditya.They hadcombined study.Anushka was happy seeing it.
Anushka told Arvind who was watching it along with her:I am so happy to see Aditya smiling.Aliya is his first friend.
Arvind smiled:This smile will remain forever.Aliya is that nice.
They smiled.
Sabrina got irritated seeing that.

Exams got over.The result day came.
Aditya was nervous.
Aditya:Will I pass?I am scared.If Idon't pass Aliya's hrd workwill be a waste and she will be upset.I can't seeher upset because of me.

Anushka:Don't worry Aditya.This time youwill pass as you have put your heart and soul into it.
Devayani:All the best Aditya.
Sabrina said in his mind:However you try Aditya...a fool like you will never pass.

Aditya was called to give the report card.
The teacher patted him:Congrats Aditya.There is a vast improvement in you.Youwon 70% marks.
Aditya was surprised.He was very happy.
Aliya was very happy for him:Congrats Aditya.

Aditya:Thank you so much Aliya.It's all because of you.
ALIYA:No,it's because you worked hard.

All the Kotharis were very happy.Sabrina was shocked.
She thought:How did this duffer score 70%?
Arvind hugged Aditya:Congrats beta.I am proud of you.

Arvind,Devayani and Anushka smiled.
Arvind:Let's invite the Guptas for dinner to celebrate.
Anu:Nice idea.

Anuskha was in the kitchen.Aditya hugged from back.

Aditya prepared a project.Sabrina who entered Aditya's room in his absence tookhis project.
Sabrina:I will destroy this.Let me how you are going to get internal marks.
Sabrina was about to tear it.Suddenly Aliya held her hand.Sabrina was shocked.
Aliya took it from her.
She stared at Sabrina:Di....I know that you have never loved Aditya though heloves you a lot.But don't be so cruel to him.If so,I may even forget that youare his sister.When I am there don't think you can ever hurt Aditya.

Sabrina was shocked by her boldness.

After a few days....
Aditya was absent in the class.Aliya relly felt sad without him in school.Shewent to RM in the evening.
She saw Devayani.
ALIYA:Dadi...Where is Aditya?
D:Aditya is sick.That's why he didn't go to school.
Aliya went to his room where Arvind and Anushka were forcing Aditya to havemedicine and he was refusing to have it.
ALIYA:Aditya....if you don't have medicine, I will not talk to you.
Aditya:No Aliya.Don't say so.I will have medicine.
Aditya had medicine.
Anushka:Wow Aliya.His parents couldn't make him have medicine.But when you toldhim to have medicine he had it immediately.
Aliya smiled.
Aditya fell asleep.Aliya covered him with the blanket.

Arvind and Anushka smiled.
When Aliya left Arvind told Anushka:Aliya is so mature.She is looking after himso well.It will be so nice if Aliya comes to our house permanently as Aditya'swife.
Anushka smiled:That would be nice.But it's too early to say that.Now they aresmall.
Sabrina who over heard it got angry.

Aditya-Aliya's friendship became stronger and stronger.Aditya's happy days didnot last long.
Arvind-Anushka met with an accident.Arvind died on the spot.
Anushka was bed ridden for days counting her days.Aditya couldn't bear pain.
Anushka:Aditya...don't cry.If I go away from you....
Aditya:No Maa.Don't say like that.

Anu:Even if I go away from you me and your father will watch you fromheaven.You won't be alone.Dadi is there and Sabrina will start loving you.
Sabrina who overheard this smirked:I will never love Aditya.He is only my stepbrother.
Anu:And Aliya is there for you.She will never let your eyes be wet.
Slowly Anushka closed her eyes.Aditya screamed:Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Aliya and Devayani came inside weeping.Aliya hugged Aditya to console him.
Sabrina smiled:Your mother took over my mother's position taking advantage ofmy dad's situation.God punished her for that.
Aditya was really hurt.
Devayani:Sabrina....stop it please.Aditya is already upset.Don't make him moreupset.

Sabrina:Dadi...you were always worried for Aditya.Not for me.

Sabrina left the room angrily.

Aditya was in heavy depression taking treatment.
Shashi Gupta got transferred to US.Aliya was sad to leave Aditya.
ALIYA:Babuji...I can't leave Aditya alone in this condition.He will be aloneand his condition will worsen.
S:But we can't leave you alone here.

Devayani gave them the approval to take Aditya to US.

Aditya found the new place strange.

Aditya got nightmares about his parents and screamed in his sleep.Hearing himscream Aliya came to his room.He hugged him to comfort him.

Aditya fell asleep on her shoulder.

Shashi took Aditya to the psychiatrist and after some months Aditya got rid ofdepression.

Aditya resumed schooling in US.He got admission in Aliya's school.Aditya wasnervous.But Aliya gave him strength by taking him to school and introducing himto everyone.

After schooling they joined the same university also.Aditya did businessstudies.

Aditya got restless not seeing Aliya around him.
Aditya:Where is this Aliya?

He searched for Aliya.
Aditya:Aliyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
In the crowd he saw her eyes.

Good that Aliya scolded Sabrina for thinking to tear the project. Aditya went in depression. It was cute when he slept on her shoulder. last scene was so cute n so realistic.
