Thanks for clearing that up, Ruby! And now Mikaal is doing another show where a woman he is married to gets raped at some point. He is nothing if not consistent. Only it looks like this time he won't end up with her, lol.

They did..

I am talking about Pani Jesa pyar.. Saba Q is raped by Ahsan and is then married to Mikaal.. he learns about the rape after the wedding and starts hating her, manhandling her and abusing her.. Saba becomes pregnant and he refuses to accept the child as his.. he gets married to his childhood friend/neighbor/ex GF.. I don't remember what happens to her but in the end, Mikal learns thd kid is his and he and Saba reunite..

It took me a long time to get over this drama.. and then Sangat came along

Mikal is playing a douchebag husband to a rape victim for the third timethe guy needs to reassess his script choices

Yes I to feel sameera Salman won't end up together in ruswai. But mikaal sana share good chemistry too

thanks hina keep the thread title may be change it to friendship drama serial if it would make people happy.Me too like ruby have a emotional connection with this thread and lovely online friends and to me umair is the most interesting character of the show...

Also, there are entirely too many dramas with rape victims having horrible husbands who treat them awfully. I never watched it apart from a couple of scenes here and there, but I'm having flashbacks to Hira Mani's show with a similar plot. Alyy Khan was the rapist there. Blegh.

I get it that he replied but love scene tha to they should have shot better,they did not need to show her shouting at him or even her dupatta on floor and I do agree afterwards all she said to him was that now meeting my sister is gunah.. she never treated it as rape except in two instances--second being when she forgave him.

Or do you think she considers it as he did not do haq mehar thing or she did not officially allow him before he did all that...I agree writers and director should ensure that he ia not confusing people with his double meaning scenes..if it was not rape then umair's crimes become much less as even she tried to slap him lol he just held her hands...

Sami I looked it as rape at that point even though they may have tried to show it as something else. Now after discussing with and Sami I am.trying to look at differently. We will.never get our answers though..
