Mera khuda jaane.. i think Aly khan played her jeth in that one.. i did not watch it.. after Sangat, I had decided i am not ever gonna watch a drama where rape is used as a plotline.. unfortunately i saw Yaariyan which honestly made me nauseous..

Mera Khuda Janey. Hira was married to Ali Abbas and I think Alyy was married to Ali's sister? Any way Hira and Ali can't get pregnant, so she marries him to another girl and at some point Alyy rapes Hira and she gets pregnant.

Maybe someone else can fill in the details because I didn't really watch it except the last episode, but Ali realises he's the one with the problem and therefore he's not the father of his wife's kid. So he starts treating them awfully, but she puts up with it and lets her daughter put up with it too. Meanwhile his relationship with Alyy is fabulous. At the end, Hira ends up reaching her limit, and she and her kid leave. The second wife finds out that he's been lying to her about his medical issues and she's been blaming herself. He finds out Alyy is the rapist. And it ends in some kind of murder suicide thing.

All the 'good' drama themes, second marriage, rape, rape-babies, infertility.

It was from that weird Khaani/Ghar Titli ka Par phase Geo was having where these very strange and kind of icky dramas were doing really well and people loved them.

Problem is in all the shows the girls were raped by some one else so here......bhagwan ya phir director knows the best ...was it love scene i mean come on director..i want to slap you 😆 aise dikhate hain love scenes....

It was very complicated. I never thought DNA twist would really happen but they showed it. That time I was annoyed thinking about but later I understood that they was no other way out to clear umair mind. It was either that or umair continuing to accuse sadia ahmer. Yaariyan isa show I can continue discussing.

If he would have asked her and was in hosh then he accusing her later would make him completely unforgivable. Writer was still careful to show umair difficult but not a complete villain

Yeah they was no need for him to come but he did. That was first time he saw sadia ahmer in the same frame for the first time properly and he reacted.
