as long as 2 people compliment each other visually..it should not be a problem..

This is more about the rampant gender bias than age shaming. It would be one thing if we saw Raveena, Kajol, Tabu romancing Ranveer, Sid, or Varun just as we see Akshay, Salman, and SRK romancing Kriti, Anushka, Disha etc. The closest we came was when Ash romanced Ranbir in ADHM and from what I understand (haven’t seen the movie) it was part of the plot that she was the older woman. And Ash looked magnificent and not older than Ranbir by any means. People are just frustrated by the blatant sexism and misogyny of it.


This is subjective but I don’t think Akshay looks good with Kriti’s sister. The age difference is glaring and it definitely gives it a creepy uncomfortable vibe specially since there’s no context for this fictional love story for people to judge. It’s a very young girl and a man who easily looks in his late 40s.
