@bold this... I know it's pointless to expect anything from the CVs but in olden days they would have tied it back to his reaction during the CD fiasco. I can't imagine being in his place.
On one hand, he is very secure in his relationship with Babita now but with Minnie, he just can't do anything to stop her going away and he knows it. I wonder if indeed he will hide the letter temporarily not just for Babita's sake but for his own, because as a father a part of him is understandably selfish, i.e. he wants to delay the moment when she will read it and find the opening to go back to Ashok to seek answers to her questions. I wonder if he will read that letter first, though. The pre-cap....
I would love it if he hides the letter from them because he himself was scared of losing Mini and not because the husband had won over ...i wonder too whether he would read the letter that was addressed to Mini though
