I really don't think she would put ashok above HS given the current situation unless some other issues and insequrities and some fights come up. Provided HS dosent hide the letter and gives it to her. They are at a stage in their relation where honesty is very much needed. And HS hiding letter is not going to work.

And for mini to choose ashok over babita - hs something more drastic has to happen given current situation between them.

Today if you see mini in the hug with HS you can see she too has been craving for his love and everything to get normal between them after marriage fiasco.

Regarding his reading of the letter... I literally had to listen whose voice was it but in the next second I realized that it was Anirudh there... Omg.. Have been used to hear his Haryanvi so much that him speaking in his normal voice was a bit different to me....

No matter how pissed off I am at Mini and the writers for spoiling the HS-mini relationship, I realized that I never be over them if we get a scene like this, especially HS's feelings for his Veer Balika. I got so emotional when he just went to her and pat her head lovingly and then just hugged her so warmly and protectively. Usually it was always Mini who initiated the hug, but the last two times it was HS, the griha pravesh episode and also yesterday:) He just wanted to hold onto her to never let her go from them 😭 and the CVs says all his love was to impress Babita huh🤓

@bold I have watched the scene 3 times already to just look at the change of expressions on his face, damn it was so beautiful and the voice modulation too. I interpreted his expressions as his regret of his last conversation with Mini. Use laga hoga kash main Veer Balika se last din woh sab na kehta aur yeh sab kuch ek bura sapna hota 😭 coz as much as he loves her, he is not fully confident that Mini would choose him over her real father, however vile a person Ashok might have been

@bold this... I know it's pointless to expect anything from the CVs but in olden days they would have tied it back to his reaction during the CD fiasco. I can't imagine being in his place.

On one hand, he is very secure in his relationship with Babita now but with Minnie, he just can't do anything to stop her going away and he knows it. I wonder if indeed he will hide the letter temporarily not just for Babita's sake but for his own, because as a father a part of him is understandably selfish, i.e. he wants to delay the moment when she will read it and find the opening to go back to Ashok to seek answers to her questions. I wonder if he will read that letter first, though. The pre-cap....

That is a better twist. I want him to do so for himself rather than babita, and let this be an opportunity for showing his thoughts and feelings about Minnie more clearly. Just once and for all address where do HS Minnie stand even if it is through kalesh.

Agar Aniruddh ko nahi pata hota, toh aisi acting ni karta.

Just checking... Then again, Aniruddh I feel brings in a lot of nuances that may not have been in the writing and manages to portray what he wants to regardless. I refuse to believe that ever second of HS on screen has been dictated by screenplay since day 1. He definitely adds in his own flavor.

Aniruddh himself was the victim of the googly that the writers through at us about HS suddenly doing an about-face during the wedding and afterwards.

I am trying not to hope for anything, especially after seeing the pre-cap. If only...

And today the first time after marriage I saw HS craving to be minis father again. Maybe the fear that he can loose her to ashok has done it. I really want him to talk to mini about how he's scared to loose her. I'm sure she will choose him over ashok any day if that happens

Normally I wouldn't think his insecurity would get in the way, but of late they are hell-bent on painting him as the evil step-dad so who knows. I would really prefer for him to give her the letter, rather than her discovering it accidentally and thinking he cheated her or something. That would also help Minnie understand exactly how much he loves her and yes that much-needed conversation about is fear of losing her is long-overdue. We had always speculated that Ashok's return could be that trigger but let's see. Depends on what Ashok says in his letter - does he want to be part of Minnie's life or still remain an absentee dad?

Actually Minnie just looked confused, i.e. "what is wrong with Hanuman Uncle and why is he getting so emotional/hugging me like this?" She felt the difference.

Agree, they need to address it and perhaps through kalesh is the only way for each of them to have the much-needed outburst and bring everything out into the open. Bohot ho gayi luka chhupi.

Also, when he stood next to her and looked at her while remembering Ashok's words, he could totally relate to her situation as he had been there himself with his own father. Sigh... how beautiful is this.

The background music when he hugged her sounded like it was straight out of some historical/epic when you know that the characters in the scene are going to part ways or be dealt some major blow.
