I think she meant more like a friend. Like sid values friendships alot and stands for them. He does stand up for his friends though. I have to give him that. He stood up for Shehnaaz multiple times and also for Aarti and asim.

I think she meant that if she couldnt stay loyal to a person like him then she couldn't stay loyal to anyone else.

Keep in mind that I still think Aarti is the biggest doormat.
