I think it depends on the actor really. I mean, if you look at Jennifer Winget, she's been experiencing high after high. First with Beyhadh and then Bepaanah. Plus, she gets to widen her talents and not be typecast.

I'd say Jennifer's portrayal was better than the story. In the sense that had it been someone else, it would've looked OTT.
