You do have a point. Apart from the movies they buy or finance to get Oscar/awards clout most of their original movies are run of the mill rom-coms, teen movies.. I have seen credible journos Netflix's comparing Roma, The Irishman, Marriage Story with Drive but people forget Netflix financed or bought the former movies just for the Oscar push only.

Exactly. They stream 2 or 3 movies like that MAX for credibility but what they're actually known for is crap like Noah Centinio movies and stuff like Tall Girl.

They recently tried to make a big bang with El Camino, their Breaking Bad movie, and it was horrible too.

They stream all this trash so they can say they have a lot of content available. Producers can make a quick buck on these and run.
