And the makers decided to replace him. ..well firstly small children should not be allowed to work for such long hours ..that’s why Hollywood always uses twins for small children’s roles so that the work load is divided by the 2 children. And really as shaurya was sick they should have replaced him temporarily and once he was well they should have brought him back. He would have done a much better job with kairavs role..
His mother said he was sick and couldn’t shoot for 5 days. He was called for a day but he only shot for 2 hours, even though he was required to shoot for 10 because the team had no bank episodes.
I really liked Shaurya as Kairav, however, we only know one side of the story. Of course dkp won’t get involved in mud slinging for a child actor, so they have refrained from commenting.
I not advocating for dkp or saying what they did was justified, but they are running the show for 11 years. I am sure they know what they are doing. They replaced Shaurya despite the love and acceptance he received from fans, so there must be reason for that. Even before he fell sick, his parents apparently had a problem with his shooting hours. The problem was resolved, however, thinking from the production’s POV, if within the first 5 weeks they were facing so many issues with the parents, why would they wanna continue working with the kid and risk future disagreements?
Shaurya was really cute, was the perfect size for Kaira’s child but his dialogue delivery wasn’t clear. Fair enough he’s 5 but when you are on a show, you have to be clear for the audience to understand what you are saying.
I don’t like Tanmay’s acting, however, I do think it’s a bit unfair to compare him to Shaurya given the fact that we don’t know how Shaurya would have acted in the current track.
